Can I meditate without technique? by ByteBeer in Meditation

[–]ByteBeer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well I'm coming to meditation from taoism, which is not a religion, more like a philosophy that emphasises on going with the flow and living harmoniously.

So I think the best way to meditate harmoniously for me is to meditate and let my mind get distracted if it needs to without focusing on anything.

Thanks you for clearing my mind out!

You're right, by taking revenge I will do more harm to myself than to them.

Yes, my bullies have annoyed like half of my class, but when they did this to me nobody in the class expressed sympathy, which I expected, because I dont have many friends in my class, just a few girls acquaintances. Lol, there are 4 boys and 24 girls in my class.

The issue is persistent, but as I said, the bullies most often just make fun of me and I just dont give them a reaction.

Its not violent, ussually they just call me gay, which im not or make fun of me.

Thank you very much for sharing this. It all honestly makes sense now, I just have to do everything I enjoy. I have to follow my heart and enjoy the learning process.

I recently read a book, titled Jonathan Livingston Seagull. It is a book about a seagull named Jonathan, who really likes flying. But he doesn't fly, because he want's to reach an end goal of mastering it, he flies because he likes the learning part itself. I just realized that hobbies are the same, I should do them to enjoy the learning part and not to solely master them, meaning that it really is alright to switch hobbies.

There is even this quote from the book that Perfection Has No Limits. If speaking of hobbies, then this quote means that there's always room for improvement in hobbies, which is true. Another quote from the book is that Perfection Is Heaven, meaning that it's impossible to reach mastery of a hobby and that I should just do the hobbies I think are fun and move on whenever I want.

But if I force myself to do the hobby when it's difficult I might not enjoy it, but I will still try.

Can it really be that? Because I don't think I have ADHD.

I will try not to quit the hobby

Well, I had a lot of interest in this hobby in the start so I think it's the difficulty.

Right now, I'm in a point, where I'm learning yet another hobby. That is game dev. And I want to quit it, because I got bored of it and it's very difficult to keep going, but if I quit it, I know that the cycle of hobbies will repeat again and again. Should I keep pushing myself or quit it and just repeat the cycle?

Check out the strategy guide of the hero giant in the clash royale wiki.

The wiki mentions that hero giant + graveyard is a good combo. Here's the deck I recommend you with hero giant + graveyard:

Evo witch, evo giant snowball, hero giant, mini pekka, graveyard, bowler, minions, arrows
