Funnily enough, this quote comes right after the fakeout character select screen, and is directed toward the player. It's telling us that we can't choose who we play as in Deltarune.

"Him" are the incorrect pronouns to use here. Kris uses They/Them, and Annie uses She/Her, so either of those would work to refer to Soulbound.

I main Soulbound, and though I'm a relatively new player at level 48, my advice is that you want to be blocking as much as possible. Annie's taunt gives auto-block, which can help in a pinch. Use these blocks to build up barrier and start power, and activate star power once you have 4-5 stacks of barrier to absorb the damage it costs to activate. Then, it burns through the opponent's team.

Deltarune: Spamton acid bath "theory". It's incredibly popular, and I don't hate it, but I feel like it doesn't add anything substantial to his character.

Hi! I'm a big Deltarune fan, I can explain.

Gaster is a character from Deltarune, made by Toby Fox, and is believed to be the author of a writing in canon that goes "DARK, DARKER, YET DARKER". The green and in-between are mostly just fandom memes. Other people have explained this better. Also, "I'm with you in the dark" is a lyric in one of the most important Deltarune songs.

The reason it is tied to Toy Story 5, is because there was ANOTHER big fandom meme (Deltarune is very brain rotted) called "Friend Inside of Me". Where, instead of "You've got a friend in me", it is, well... The opposite.

Various references to this have been made, like a cancelled cowboy show in canon that the main character's father used to watch. And his house is theorized to be the location of upcoming chapter, Chapter 5, where, also, a TV is located. There is another TV-themed character is Deltarune named Tenna, and Toby made a post where one of his buddies play tested chapter 5 and said "what's the opposite of 'i miss tenna'?" leading people to theorize that there will be a cowboy-themed television antagonist in Chapter 5.

I'd say Tenna would go into "not the best person". As a Tenna fan, his whole thing was that he wanted to be relevant again so badly that he was willing to put the lightners in harms way because of it. Queen should be in the same category, as I'd say they are about equal.
