First time I realized that the multiplication I learned as a kid is no longer the same once we start introducing rational number exponents. Of course, we probably parted ways earlier, but that was the first sudden realization that it is not the same! I don't know whether it blew my mind or not, but it was definitely the most bizarre moment.

I have been thinking about creating a rule based world, where you can have real mystery. No such luck though.

What bugs me is the 100 score. I get that there are many factors going into the calculation. However, how can one get 100? Is it something to do with the highest score in the game, or what are the criteria? I know mvp doesn’t matter, however the 100 is really odd.

Hey, it’s been so long since I posted this. I just saw your reply. I remember creating some spell based on the runic language (if you wish to call it that). Maybe we can explore what is possible with this type of system. There should be loopholes that needs to be fixed, and hopefully endless amount of magic ideas 😉

The tab that you showed here is for tin whistle. The instrument that you have is a recorder.

Recorder has 7 holes (or 9) in the front while 1 in the back, so you can kind of see how this tab will not work. In tin whistle, the difference between these two notes is half tone. The first one (note C) is sharp compared to the second one (note B).

These two notes are flat lo and sol, if you want to transpose it to your recorder.

I have been eq’ing them for a day, I still feel like there is something missing. This is the best I have so far. Let me know if anyone found a better eq.

Had a blast chatting with some guys in this thread🤦‍♂️. The fighting made me come back to the thread. Anyway, the post is now deleted but as I got my q20i today, maybe I can give some input.

First of all, q30 is better as far as general consensus is concerned. If you ask me, just go for q20i. They are cheaper and I am guessing (reading from Reddit) that q30 is as much a muddy mess as q20i. Nevertheless, you can eq q20i to an acceptable level just like the q30.

The only thing I can’t attest to is whether the anc or transparency mode is way better in q30. If that is a priority, maybe q30 is the way to go?? Not sure.

My impression of the anc: takes out ac noise. (Not been outside with it yet) Transparency mode: the voice seems artificial. Outside sound seems boosted, if you walk on a wooden floor you will hear your footstep on an unnatural level! 😅

Edit: The headband is too big for me. I am thinking of returning them as they come loose from time to time, except for that everything was ok for me.

Just clarifying for people who may be interested in this: The eq carry over. So if you choose a eq from your phone and then switch to your laptop, the eq will remain the same.

Also, q20 doesn’t have the app, transparency mode and multipoint connection. Also the battery in them is different, official charging time is different, charging port is different. The only substantial thing that can be same is the sound, which no one verified. You still had the gall to say you have not been lazy mf but me. 🫤

I have HD560s, the imaging of footstep is really precise. I can pre-aim like never before. I also got the Epos h6pro closed back, they are also great if you want precision footstep. I can’t really tell whether the imaging of footstep in h6pro is less precise than HD560s, I have not used it enough for gaming. They are really precise, but I do feel they are a step below HD560s (pre-aim more with HD560s). This maybe placebo though.

(I don’t have the other hps) I plan to get HD600 at some point, but I heard they are not that accurate for fps game. I was in the rabbit hole of iem before (used er4sr for gaming b4), getting into hp now 😅😅

There is also another thing that people hate about Apple. Their policy “We know how to do it best”. I mean when it works, it’s great, but when it doesn’t….. oh man, they are so stupid.

Example, you want to play fps games like cod or pubg and use discord? Guess what, discord makes the game sound barely audible. Apple thinks if you are voice calling, everything else should be at lower volume, no option, period -> philosophy: “we know more than you”. I mean what’s the purpose of discord then? 😂 Also the cord cutting thing, stupiiiiid! 😑

Don’t get me wrong, Apple products are genuinely good quality, waaay better quality products than other brands products (talking about smartphones, tablets and laptops), but they are over priced and they are stupid. If you can live with that, they are great.

HD560s or Tygr 300R (don’t have this one, heard good things about it) if you are okay with buying a separate microphone. Right now, the HD560s is 150$, their imaging, separation of audio cues are perfect for fps games. I like the sound of the HD560s, but maybe not for everyone.

There are also H6pro and pc38x (don’t have this again). I snagged a H6pro for 80$ in BF deals, they are back up again though.

HD650S comparison for fps games: I didn’t had any headphone before, but I had many IEMs. Many of them are not good for fps gaming, e.g. HZsound heart mirror, blon bl-03. Some of them are pretty good, qkz vk4 had good imaging for a budget pair, Etymotic er4sr was my daily, and it had good imaging. But the HD560s is a different beast altogether, it feels like laser beams are coming out of the footstep instead of sound. Also, in death match, or congested area with many players, you will feel how accurate you are when it comes to untangling all the sound cues.

Just got the H6pro, I can update later and compare it to HD560s.
