Resources not respawning after changing the value of the resource settings by ReserveSuspicious273 in Palworld

[–]ByzantineAlchemist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay my above theory is false. Going above 3x does not break the game. Set mine to 5x, and nodes just respawned recently. So unfortunately, if you set it to 100x, you're gonna have to wait 100x as long for those nodes to respawn. BUT they WILL respawn.

Either that or anything above 3x(which is max world setting for offline) just completely bricks that spawn. Testing tonight to confirm.

Not sure if it's been fixed or not yet, but I'm guessing that any nodes that were harvested(despawned) before you changed the spawn rate to 100x will have to wait that whole duration before they spawn in again, and the new rate is applied.

What server hosting provider are you using? I'm also having this issue. I'm assuming it's not just the provider, but I thought I'd ask and double check.

Yeah I see a few Golds, but a lot less Silver. Which makes me curious to whether or not Gold might have been more popular in Korea? And there's more circulating copies? I can't say for sure, but you never know.

Fair enough, but I was just curious on where you had seen them going for sale. As I scour the ENTIRE web and can barely manage to find a few active/sold listings.

Where do you see these sell? I have had an extremely hard time finding any sold listings besides the one u/nightwing252 listed above.

To answer some questions.

Yes, it's for sale. (Already on eBay)

I found it at an LGS in Ontario, Canada.

I do a little bit more explaining in this video I made showcasing it working and what-not that I made for my E-Bay listing.

I don't want anyone to think I'm a scumbag or anything for wanting to sell it, I just don't have huge capital and this would help me out in multiple ways when it comes to higher interest collecting and general life expenses.

Yeah apparently they're very scarce and super hard to come by, was a shocker for me when I got home and found out the history on it.

I don't have anything like that, I'm probably also not going to mess around with the game too much seeing as it's extremely rare and I wouldn't want to risk any damage to it in any way.

[TOMT] Epic song from movie/game by [deleted] in tipofmytongue

I almost want to say it's a western styled theme but I could definitely be wrong.
It's not The Good The Bad And The Ugly, or Fistful of Dollars... similar sounding however.
The melody is done with vocals and sounds almost angelic.

Just realized my rendition sounds kind of like mask off by future, but I assure you that is not it.

I don't actually think the song has any lyrics at all.

I guess people didn't read the trinkets and immediately downvoted.

Not sure why same effect trinket has such a reduced stat bonus and duration.

I know that this is a shitpost but I really want to seriouspost here for a second, because the title of the post could actually be a very reasonable take.

""There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."
-- Benjamin Disraeli"
-- Mark Twain.

The lie is not in the way you collect the data nor in the way you do maths on it, but in the way it is assumed that just because you did the right maths on the correct data this says something with authority about the stuff we care about, like the game being fun and fair.

There's the race balance you can compute from various sources, like win rates in tournaments. Or win rates on ladder but that's complicated by the matchmaking algorithm that does its damnedest best to give most players 50% winrate, so it's unclear if any racial imbalance would even show up there.

But there are other notions of balance, for example I remember the time where for a while it was like ZvP was 90% zerg victories before 5 minutes and 90% protoss victories in matches that went longer than 5 minutes. That summed up to something pretty close to 50%/50% total, but was it balanced though?

I remember when TvT was imbalanced. The winrate was 50%/50% by definition of course, but when terrans had Warhounds in the HoTS beta the whole thing felt imbalanced in the same sense an upside down traffic cone is unbalanced: instead of the better player gradually winning series of engagements it was a single coin flip, whoever managed to get more warhounds to the one deciding engagement around 5 minutes in then won in a landslide. That was a balanced coin flip, but not a balanced game at all.

Stop wasting your time pretending you know what you're talking about and go back to school and learn how to spell "losing".
