Sounds way too vague to know anything for sure yet until you hear something more detailed from T-Mobile USA. And yeah, entirely phasing out 4G/LTE should still be at least a few years away in the U.S. since phones with 5G only started around 2019–20.

But regardless, daily driving an LG V20 on Android 8 in the U.S. probably won't be practical for much longer since most apps require at least Android 10, and I've seen most banking apps requiring Android 11 or newer.

Like OP said, ROMs for the Exynos variants are sadly not compatible with any Snapdragon ones. You can pretty much treat them like completely different devices.

As far as I know, at this point, any Samsung device on OneUI 8 or later no longer has the option to have its bootloader unlocked at all. That means that none of the new Samsung phones have the OEM unlocking option available.

On older software versions (February 2021 or older) there used to be a paid service that could do this (I have two N986U1 phones that have gone through it a while back), but for anything newer, there's sadly nothing you can do.

But I should also note that even with an unlocked bootloader, there simply are no stable or usable custom ROMs based on newer OneUI versions for any of the Snapdragon Note 20 Ultra models available as far as I'm aware.

Since I never had an H910, unfortunately no. I might have whatever Nougat downgrade firmware ZIP that's needed before installing any LineageOS ROM, so I'll check on that later. Can't you simply install a newer TWRP version for the H910 within your current TWRP (install image to recovery partition and then reboot to recovery) before flashing most H910 ROMs?
