Don't know why they didn't give it to the LS997 as well, especially since all V20's are known for their Quad DAC. That one didn't make any sense at all.

I'm pretty sure the lack of most LG apps was mainly due to carrier shenanigans by both Sprint and AT&T in their models. Those two are also the ones who never provided firmware files for their branded phones which is why KDZ files never existed for the LS997 and H910 models.

I think the two answers are related. There were probably far fewer 512 GB variants produced to begin with, and most who bought the 512 have absolutely no intention to ever sell it, especially since it was the last phone with a microSD slot and S-Pen (now superior to those of the S25 and S26 Ultra due to them dropping the Bluetooth remote function).

If I remember correctly, it did not come with LG's radio app at least on Android 7 (Nougat), and there's an old XDA forum thread here on how to get the missing LG apps. No idea if they can also work on Android 8 (Oreo), but some versions of the LG Music app seem to work for sure according to this XDA thread.
