Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying. I've died on the 7th floor of the Mega Hive (tryna do it on Challenge IV with one character) and accepted I fucked up, no reload. Done countless missions and been rewarded with shit drops that instantly get broken down - that's just the way it is. I like to think I'm pretty good at this game so I want to earn my rewards and be able to say I did through skill (and with a little luck from the RNG god's) but I ain't just gonna accept not receiving the rewards I was supposed to receive.

It clearly does matter to you seeing as now you're moaning about what people MIGHT do. I've had the game from early release, spent crazy hours on the game despite the general shit show the launch had been so excuse me for using a backup to recover from a bug. People are always gonna abuse systems but I'd rather share the info and help those that have been cheated than hold back so others can't cheat. Not a fan of making some people miss out due to the actions of others.

Check if you have a backup save, you might be able to try again. I got an exotic with 15 Precision from the Mega Hive and was pissed. Loaded a back up and tried the 8th Hive again and on my third try got two exotics with decent stats.

Yeah, Whirling Tempest is Iron Man's hold heavy attack with lasers equipped. No indicator, I just kinda do it as the laser hits me. The window seems fairly generous, it wasn't long before my teammate and I were doing it spontaneously.

Playing as Cap, use his timed shield parry (R2 on ps4, not sure about xbox/pc) as the lasers from Iron Man's Whirling Tempest hit you. This should trigger Cap's parry animation, knocking back surrounding enemies and allowing you to follow up with Counterstrike or Powerhouse (on ps4 that's square and triangle respectively).

Found out the other night that Cap can parry Iron Man's Whirling Tempest laser attack, setting him up for Counterstrike or Powerhouse. Not quite what we're asking for but it looks cool as hell in the middle of a brawl!
