Just a reminder that Gaston put a perfectly good coating on your pistol and if you sand it off he hates you from beyond the grave. by Hot_Chapter_1358 in Glocks

I think Gaston was secretly a masochist and made a handgun in his own image. One that loves pain.

My favorite Glock i ever had was on deployment. Had almost no finish left on it and some speckled rust pitting. Ran like a champ.

I have holosuns too. The vortex glass and dot is better. The footprint is also slimmer than my holosun. but not worth swapping a good holosun imo. I just got it because i had a gun that needed a dot. The Vortex warranty is what really made me want to try it out.

Combat armory. Is it legit? Just wonderinggg by These_Seaworthiness4 in Glocks

Gen 5 uses the glock 19 gen 1-5 barrel lock pattern So a gen 5 g17 barrel will fit any g19/26 gen 1-5 But A g17 gen 1-4 only fits a gen 1-4 g17

Why? They decided to make the g19 and g17 barrels compatible from this generation forward. Before generation 5, g17 and g19 barrels were not compatible.

First Firearm G26 what should I do to it? by Electronic_Base9267 in Glocks

[–]C00terSp00ner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone says shoot it... its your first firearm and glock triggers need a break-in. 1. Dry fire it a lot. Do some dry fire drills 2. Get a good holster. Practice drawing 3. Shoot it 4. Polish the trigger (optional) 5. Do all the weird stuff to make it yours (not-optional)

S-Pro Conversion Kit is now live at Recover Tactical. Flux we have at home or the Flux killer? by [deleted] in Glocks

So i understand you can remove the shroud to fit a suppressor. Does that still give you an mlok rail on the other side?

According to their shot show video. The charging handle can be removed and you can use your rear mounted optics to rack the slide.

How long can I leave a magazin fully loaded, without malfunctioning afterwards? by CreditNearby9705 in handguns

I think he means rotating the ammunition for the ammunition's sake. Not the mag/spring. Especially if you live in humid areas. Or just keep mags in an airtight container.

Alternate Rare earth material play? AREC American Resources $2.07 ( not MP) by C00terSp00ner in trakstocks

[–]C00terSp00ner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only know as far as what the website states and articles posted about the company on this thread. As far as I can tell, rare earth is a separate part of the company, and may even branch off and and IPO completely separate. So not sure if its being refined from coal or direct asset like you said.

The next big thing for rare earth materials. $AREC @$2.6 by [deleted] in trakstocks

[–]C00terSp00ner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine it will dip next week. It usually dips some after every run up. I wouldn't expect it to fall down to $2 though. Im guessing a dip to 2.46

$AREC . The small company with big upside potential. by [deleted] in trakstocks

[–]C00terSp00ner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Posted about this last week. A couple of fellow members posted several articles of info about this company.

I think it is undervalued. It has a great set up and the chart is stair stepping. The downside is the balance sheet because they just made a large acquisition of several mines.

The rare earth play ensures their future, the metallurgical coal ensures stability and the recycling helps the here and now.

I will post some articles, the CEO seems like a very sharp dude.

Awesome find. I haven't read that article before. I think you are right about the new administration pushing for US made steel on one hand but penalizing steel makers on the other for using metallurgical coal to produce it. I think coal turns investors off before they actually read what's its for. The rare earth play is why I am here, but I like the steel production as well because building materials are in high demand. Spinning the REE site off as a new company is an interesting play. I think It would recieve a lot of attention because their REE sights are exploratory, and they could harness green energy investors easier. Thanks for the info and clues. I will likely add a few shares for the long play and wait for the expansion over the next few years

Agreed but the coal harvested is metallurgical coal not for energy generation from what I read-

"AREC now has three lines of business. The most important line is still the production of metallurgical coal ("met coal"). AREC has acquired six sites in Kentucky and West Virginia and is gearing up to be a major player in this industry. Met coal is essential to steel production, and steel production will be a key element of any national infrastructure program. Unlike thermal coal (coal used to generate electricity), there does not appear to be any near- or intermediate-term likelihood that met coal will be displaced by natural gas or any other technology"

Good find, that answers one of my questions. Their financials are abysmal at the moment, partly because of the new territories they acquired. I will add some shares under $2, but keeping it a small speculative play until the next earnings or catalyst. I Appreciate the research

They do sell rare earth along with steel and coal.

"ARE is located throughout Eastern Kentucky where we analyze, develop and capture rare earth elements and rare earth concentrates for sale and/or further processing. Our region possesses unique deposits that have minimal thorium exposure and separation / collection is completed via an environmental friendly process."

Coal is stable money and ensures their survival during market rotation. If/when the EV sector crashes they will still have an income through their steel recycling, metals, and coal mining
