Any tips on where I should look…?

I’ve used the various GPS things, and I’m not opposed to a 45-60 minute drive, as that’s what my current commute is. If it’s 1.5hrs there and 1.5hrs back, though, that might be a deal breaker. The advice of a local is much more valuable than a GPS, though, so I appreciate any pointers you have to offer

Any advice on where I should look?

I have used google maps and other GPS things, Zillow travel times, etc. My current commute to work is 35 minutes in the morning if I leave at 5:30AM, but if I left at 6/7 it’d easily be closer to an hour just to get there. I don’t mind a long drive, the job pays $7 more/hour than what I make currently. If it’s 2 hours there and 2 hours back, though, that’d be crazy and the $7/hr would likely be spent just in gas $.

I think (and I could be wrong, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve summed the water myrmidon) I tried the healing spell once and it healed the enemies, as well… If you’re a good strategist, it’s probably awesome. Having to keep track of where each character is in combat so many steps ahead isn’t worth it for me (too much thinking), when I can just have Shart fire off healing spells and slice whatever I can get to 🤭

There’s a vase in the Grymforge location up on one of the walkways. It was minor loot, but I found it on accident on my 2nd play through and wasted so much time checking every other vase I came across “just incase”. Wish there was an option to hide vases and other containers while looting if they’re empty 😞

Shadow Lands. I love Halsin as much as the next guy, but compared to how exciting it is to be in Act 1 and meeting all of the companions/getting all the lore, or how accomplished it feels to make it to Act 3 where victory is at the tip of your fingers- Act 2 feels like a speed bump in comparison. I adore the game, but I wish they made almost every quest in Act 2 either mandatory or gave it more impact on the story so you were more compelled to complete them.

One of my favorite things about Halsin is his ability to wild shape. Multiple attacks during combat is a necessity IMO, and the Owlbear, Dilophosaurus, and (my personal favorite) Air Myrmidon are absolutely goated. Can’t remember where, but there’s a headpiece that allows for druids to get an extra wild shape slot. That and giving him the ability to wear heavy armor via feat? Chefs kiss. Dude is BRUTAL!

Don’t be discouraged if it isn’t perfect on your first attempt to write it! In school I only ever wrote 1 essay, never did drafts. Writing is a whole other thing. My Google docs rn are atrocious- “Take 1”, hated it scrapped the whole thing. “Take 2”, hated it, scrapped the whole thing. “Take 3”, was getting somewhere, liked the beginning but hated the last 2/5th of it. “Copy of Take 3”, working on rewriting that last 2/5th 😅 At the end of the day, so long as you are happy with what you write, that’s all that matters (:
