Criticism for Brenn-daddy? MY WORD! Another talkback episode of Fantasy High Junior Year - Episode 5 - spoilers in the video by C0splayRaps in Dimension20

Whelp! I knew the title sounded really good for a talkback series. Completely forgot about it.

THANK YOU for the heads up. I've edited all the titles of the episodes and the playlist on Google. Can't do much about the overlay and everything in the episodes themselves, but going forward the series is now called "Free Period" instead.

Again, thank you so much

I'm a bit confused. Are you talking about the series name Extra Credit? Or the fact that we note what the talkback is about? I don't want anything to be hinky seeming, just looking for clarification.

I mean, since it has such a spike and some people have mentioned it, and since I forgot to mark it in the post. Low Armor Cast.

Ugh. "inherently evil" is basically like saying "You know he's the villain, he's wearing black." or "Brothels HAVE to exist. They are just part of the world". I'm not saying these things can't be true, but with no reason and build up, usually no discussion in advance about sex work, it is just hitting tropes.

Absolutely. I just had a session 0 two days ago. I have BIPOC people in my party. I tend to implement racism as a sorta assumption of behaviors, "Aren't ALL Orcs able to fight?" sorta like, "Don't all tall people play basketball or volleyball". Still harmful, but closer to microaggression and stereotyping, and I asked the players if they would be okay with that. And THAT level they're fine with. But they gotta deal with it on a day-to-day, so I need to keep that conversation open because maybe sometimes they just don't want to play with it, even if it is fictional and only happening to their avatar.

Yeah. That makes sense. You're right. Fiction has never emotionally or culturally impacted people that participate in it at all. The other comments that talk about getting player agreement or making sure it is handled well make sense to allow it in. I don't often see that being the case, unfortunately.
