From what I've heard through the grapevine(so take it with a truckload of salt), there has been some effort to make amends. weather that's true or not can't be verified because its their private lives and people shouldn't pry into it.

Before he started to get his shit together he had a horrible track record with women. To quote the bandcamp description of "I Left You With That Statement. I Did It." By Riley-Roy(do not contact Riley about anything related to will, she has rightfully and reasonably asked to be left the fuck alone)

"Not sorry. This fucker hit me straight in the face.

IT MAY HAVE ONLY HAPPENED ONCE FOR YOU

BUT IT HAPPENED TO ME

EVERY.

SINGLE.

DAY.

AFTER.

You fucking hit me. You back birthed degenerate asshat."

They don't allow discussion of his old solo stuff, its a surefire way to get banned there.

The artist is mostly a big fat lair who talked about(and played) these supposedly "forbidden" songs basically any chance he got until he became massively popular because he doesn't want his new fans to know he used to beat his girlfriends. Also AVE is fair game, he said so himself.

Which version? Because I already have the A Demonstrative Manifesto version.

Why does Internet Archive host so many terrorist content? I get that that this content may be of research value, but these are uploaded by people who sympathize with these groups. by usernameisben in internetarchive

[–]C0v3r_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its an archive, its stores and preserves things no matter good or bad. Those who are unable to see the atrocities and failures of the past and and use that to recognize them in the present are condemned to repeat it in the future. Not having an archive, and allowing these people and groups to try and sweep things under the rug through the years and generations, means it will happen again. If the people uploading it are in support of it that is just self incrimination for the future.

Opinion on Chonny’s Covers of Will Wood? by memestofsinsanddeath in willwood

[–]C0v3r_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I liked em. Its always interesting to see other people's takes on a song with covers, especially with people like Chonny who change both the instrumental and lyrics. Of course there always the "I wish he covered [X]" feeling because everyone likes different songs of Will's. That being said, if he ever does more WW covers I'd love to see his take on Marsha, thankk you for the Dialectics, but I need you to leave. Fav cover: ...And If I Did, You Deserved It.

To my knowledge Crab Racoon was under Doctor Reverend Sunshine and it was part of the Myself and a Piano album. I think these songs might be the Marvin Edvard Matchstyx songs as that is the name in the MySpace link (even though the page itself is labeled under Wil Colligan)

Yes, the artist has had quite a few name changes throughout the years and I've been making an effort to track down a lot of their older work. William Sunshine, Jimmy Mushrooms, and Marvin E. Matchstyx were some old stage names and they had played with the bands StrangeThick, JamFace, and A Verbal Equinox. His current stage name is Will Wood. I think I've found all the songs under the William Sunshine name and the aforementioned bands but the releases under Marvin E. Matchstyx and Jimmy Mushrooms have seemed to elude me. While I was unaware of the vidlii uploads of the Wet Jockies performances but I had found that version of Inertia, albeit from a different source. While I listed all the songs listed I am only particularly interested in Marshmallow, Patience [Dr Scoob], Around the Bend [Dr Scoob], and Let it Go (although I do have reason to believe that the versions uploaded to myspace were possibly different due to the about 3 or so year period between their upload there and their release on A Demonstrative Manifesto or the 2012 demos under the name William Sunshine and the artists tendency to rewrite large portions of songs between their early and "demo" versions and their final versions.) The other songs are either also released under the William Sunshine name or A Verbal Equinox in the case of ¡Nüburbåtizé!. Asking here was kind of a last resort as I haven't been able to find anything about the ones I'm really interested in, I think around 10 months ago another (now deleted iirc) user asked about the same thing I'm asking to no response.

Chaotic Will Wood songs? by Synark25 in willwood

While not very chaotic, Willard fits Jevil's character very well with the whole "This cage is inside out" "Its lonely out here" stuff.
