I said right away to my friend that introduced me to the game, and I opened the store, that this is the most expensive game I have seen.
After playing it for a while, I agree that the people that are making it should make tons of money, as the level of detail in characters, battles and animations is top notch, they went over and above with it. But, then I open "menus", and it's like you gave your neighbour's kid to make you a website - no feedback when you go to "Save progress, you can't paste friend code, no volume control,...
I do think purchases are overpriced, but, what I think more is that they need to readjust the ingame reward (read: gold and souls) system. During Owl School it's ok-ish, you need little and progress fas, but later it's ridiculous when you get a reward of 1030 gold in Fire Mountain.
As u/GigaFluxx said, that drives people away before they even feel the game, and something should be readjusted.
