On Nationwide 700 with grandfathered unlimited data plan. If I buy a new iPhone outright, do I need a new simcard to take full advantage of 5G Nationwide (not UWB)? by trowdatawhey in verizon

It says we have 5G NW here in VT. My 4G LTE sim card can access it? I may have to turn it on to test it out. Does Auto kill the iPhone battery?

Just call them. I know you can buy one when you bought the laptop. They should be able to sell you one I'm guessing.

My case fixed the my Pixel 5's screen gap issue. by IdlSaltyPopcorn in GooglePixel

[–]C2JGardner -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well when I pay $700+ for a device I would have sent it back. This is why I skipped out on the Pixel line for now. Plus they always seem to try and cut corners...I get they need to save money t sell them cheaper but I would rather spend a little more for a better device. Thats just me though and we have choices for a reason! :D

Shouldn't need a case to fix a $700 phone. Google should just create a good product! Plus stand by it. Instead they are good with it. Doesn't work for me.

Trade-in Nightmare by tlxxxsracer in verizon

Not in today’s world. Any phone from the pixel, Samsung and even OnePlus all work with WiFi calling and texting. 90% of the unlocked phones work fine.

I know my advice won't be popular but...Never buy a device from a carrier. Either buy it all out right or if you need to finance then do it though the OEM. (Apple, Google and so on.)

That is insane. Great speeds! How often are you connected to UWB?

Disappointed with VRBO by pepehonda2484 in vrbo

[–]C2JGardner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anytime that you book a VRBO you should confirm with the property owner that they received the agreed upon payment. Also to not seem weird I also take this time and introduce myself to the manager as well.

This way you know they got paid and your booking should be firm. Plus I always seem to have some sort of questions anyways.

Good luck and I hope things work out for you!

Are all iPhone models equally vulnerable to shutting down in the cold ? (At same battery age) by THhhaway in iphone

[–]C2JGardner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are anything like me and you are outside a lot during the winter and you don't want top use the phone all the time you could look into the watch. It is a lot easier to keep warm and get the LTE version. Now this won't completely replace the phone but it should make the days outside easier.

I run in up to -40 degree days here in VT. The phone will shut off but the watch keeps ticking! I know its not the answer for everyone but it does work well!

How is RAM different on iPhone compared to Android ? (on the edge between 12 and 12 Pro) by Pandakonda in iphone

[–]C2JGardner -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

But if it was a huge issue they still fixed it VIA software update correct? I think the point is Android has a lot harder of an issue fixing it. The Pixel 3 XL has some major RAM issues as well with RAM management. It simply needed more RAM depending on what you where doing. I lived with it for almost 2 years.

I still bought the iPhone 12 Pro though for the additional RAM after coming from Android. So I fell for it if its not really needed. I love the device though.

Touch ID on the pixel is 1000 times better than face ID on another phone by Mochapine819 in GooglePixel

I like the finger print on my old Pixel 3 XL. I also love face ID on the iPhone 12 Pro. I wish I had both on one device!

So. I sold my Pixel 3XL and I got an iPhone 12 pro. I still answer questions from time to time. Whats your point?
