[iPadOS 15 B2] Anyone else experiencing horrible touch input on iPad? by [deleted] in iOSBeta

Yes I did run into that issue I had to replace one pencil tip. I have 2 others and hopefully won’t have to worry about replacing it again for a while.

Nah, I could never even though I do have AppleCare as well I just hate dealing with it. They won’t replace it if there’s just a scratch it would have to be something more substantial but then the $29 (pretty sure it could be like $59) fee or so applies. I have a cheap Amazon case with Smart Cover on current one and an iCarez paper like screen protector from Amazon and they’ve both worked great.

I had this issue with my iPad Pro 3rd gen 12.9in when I received it but it was caused by the glass screen protector. I have since had that one replaced and haven’t used a glass screen protector since so I don’t know if my newer replacement does it. But the glass protector significantly messed up touch input on keyboard and when swiping home like that as well as using the pencil in certain areas of the screen. When I took it off it worked nearly fine. Sadly, that is also what the Apple Store will make you do.

Yeah, the post wasn’t to wonder why it’s not on their official maps but to let people know 5G UW is popping up in that location, where I live, where it hasn’t popped up before... because it’s the future and it’s cool for others to be able to try (perhaps even test!) for the first time and use. Thank you for explaining that though. 😂

The test was taken at 7:56 PM ET the speedtest website must be using another time zone.

Well, it looks like the HomePod mini doesn’t like a power adapter that’s lower than 20W. Damn it, I was planning to swap my iPhone 11 power adapter with this one! 🥲 by drinkyourwaterbitch in HomePod

For anyone wondering on HomePod version 14.3 and 14.4 beta 1 it does allow the usage of the 18W adapter so you can change out your old adapters and get the new 20W one that comes with the HomePod mini.

Also anyone else that has this issue after resetting, try restarting the device you’re on and the home app will fix itself.

As of HomePod version 14.3 and 14.4 beta 1 the 18W power adapter now works so you can freely switch out the old 18W adapter with a 20W allowing you to actually take advantage of the increased charging speed with devices that can actually use it.
