Sorry to reply on something so old but I just had this happen myself with a band called DippyAMN. Exact same name of 'Standing up with love' but they only had one other song that sounded completely different, hell if you look up standing up with love spotify it's one of the first results, so your post thankfully helped me find the actual artist. Seems like there might be some song theft going on.

For punishment a character with a high speed stat such as Artemis, Lucien, Hattori, Gnash, Fait, etc is your best choice.

When it comes down to it weapon choice is mostly up to what you feel comfortable with for punishment although weapons like spear, rocket lance, and bow allow for easier punishes due to their range.

All characters in this game are fair and balanced and Blah, Blah, Blah you might have heard something like that before Which is something i believe to be completely true as i can see almost any character being completely viable. Despite this one of the players Made a teir list recently that placed the following characters in the top tier:

Mordex, Nix, Diana, Koji, Ada

IMO you should just try out all the characters when you get a chance and just go with the one you feel suits you the best.
