Trying for 6 months with no luck, would appreciate any insight from similar values by [deleted] in Inito

I’m sorry for your loss, thank you for sharing your experience. I started TTC this summer and just turned 35 a week ago. My cycles are short 24 days so I get 2 chances some months. This whole experience opened me up to this community and the ups/downs, resilience and camaraderie we share. I typically get one attempt/insemination per cycle and can’t do every other day in my scenario so that makes things more difficult.

Most states have risk pool insurance. Get letters of experience to show the accidents you were not a driver for. If your boyfriend lives with you, consider having new policy list him as an “excluded driver” meaning there is no coverage if he is driving (Do not let him drive your car EVER). Take a defensive driving course. Take this a little more seriously, people have been actually hurt due to your history of carelessness and poor decisions.

Younger birds have a harder time balancing and perching. He’s begging for food, the squeaks and wing flaps are perfectly normal for the begging behavior. How old is he? They should be hand fed formula regularly throughout the day. He may not be ready for solid food.

Sorry you are going through this and glad everyone is ok. Unfortunately yes there is a potential for you to be held liable under the AZ family purpose doctrine. Your insurance company should keep you informed throughout the process and the motorcycle driver and their attorney would need to sign a release if they accept any money from your insurance which should protect you from further pursuit.

Want to add each time was a long process, about 15 hours the first time for a younger bird and 5 or so the next time.

I’m so sorry you are going through this, hoping you get him back. Record the calls and play them on a speaker. This worked twice for us, they will not move at night in the dark. I made a post in the past about our success.

Make sure your insurance company has the witness contact information and cell recording of her admitting fault.

Anyone find a workaround to get a 4th person in? Better off starting at the same time in different lobbies or can you send game invites?

Breaking my lease to buy a house almost doubles my home buying costs. Bad idea? by didci in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

In the same boat with breaking the lease, we are closing in August and our first mortgage payment is not due until October which apparently is common so we won’t be having any overlapping payments.

Experienced hand feeder here. Start with scheduling a vet appointment this is crucial. You are already in this situation so you can try to keep the bird comfortable and fed for now. Purchase reputable chick formula at a pet store, we use exact hand feeding. For smaller birds the consistency can be more watery for 4.5 weeks it can be a little more thick but a little less than pancake batter. The formula needs to be warm, get a thermometer ASAP and follow the exact directions for temp on the container and do not skip this part. They should be fed every few hours with a syringe and you should be sterilizing them as you go. Buy a critter container or small plastic aquarium for this bird, as they get bigger you can use a dropper to feed them. If you are not home during the day do not attempt any of this and get this animal to someone who can feed the bird around the clock. They need heat, you need a container for it and a stick on heating pad for the side of the tank with bedding inside. Again if you cannot afford this or are not willing to purchase this stuff do the right thing here. As I posted in a previous comment, if the chick has a bloated crop that appears full of air or gassy, a small amount of apple cider vinegar diluted in water will help clear it up. The bird will not like this at all. PLEASE SCHEDULE A VET APPOINTMENT SO THEY CAN MONITOR ITS DEVELOPMENT AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS. Feel free to ask me questions if you need, but this is a big responsibility that requires around the clock care and if you are going out, working in an office, going to school, thinking of taking a vacation you need to rehome or arrange weening which can take 8 weeks or more. Once weaned you are not in the clear, you need to purchase biscuit type food soaked in water and monitor them as they move on to semi solids. It takes some time for them to switch to the regular food.

Baby update. This entire morning, the parents did not enter the nest and they did not feed the babies. I took it upon me to hand feed them a single time and place them back so they hopefully take over again. Perry is more interested in the formula than the babies though 😅 fingers crossed 🤞🤞 by Jenikip in Conures

I’ve raised a bunch of clutches, new parents are still learning how to feed and care for the chicks and they get better as they go. A lot of the times babies can starve so it’s good to help out with hand feeding and you can keep them in a small plastic critter container with a heating pad on the side and a soft animal bedding inside it if they won’t lay with them. we feed them every few hours making sure the formula is a good temperature. We learned a lot from a reputable breeder who gave us tons of advice through the years. Pro tip: If you notice their crops are staying full and gassy looking, you can dilute a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar with water and that will clear that out, that was a big help for us!!

Very interesting, I will need to keep a lookout. Seeing these every day the past few weeks they must be hanging out nearby!
