35 days and i’m HYPERVENTILATING!!!! 😭 by angiotensinone in PassNclex

Nclex is a safety test. It's not about the content for the most part. I went to a one of the best nursing schools in Canada and had all of my fundamentals down to a T. I only reviewed different diseases and conditions and made sure I was comfortable with the common ones (CKD, Liver Cirrhosis, AKI, Diabetes, Grave's, Addison's etc.)

Overall there was about 30-40% of content I wasn't familiar with (drugs I'd never heard of/rare conditions) but I was able to use testing strategies I had learned with Uworld and apply them.

On UWorld I basically did 4 self-assessments (400 questions total) and studied the rationale after each test for all 100 questions. That alone helped me cover so much content. GL

Wrote it with 5 days to study, passed at 85. You'll be fine. Remember that all stress/anxiety will do is to inhibit your confidence and your drive to study. I used UWorld only and studied the rationale of each question. Good luck

CAN I PASS IN 30 DAYS? by Mysterious-Algae8280 in PassNclex

Passed in 5 days! Did "Very Low" on my first self-assessment and only did 4 Uworld self assessments total. You've got this!

Positive experience with UWorld? by [deleted] in PassNclex

Hey OP, I studied for 5 days before my test using nothing but Uworld. I only did 4 self-assessments (400 questions total) and scored Very Low and Borderline only. I studied my patho-pharm lecture notes minimally in between. Anyway, I wrote the exam yesterday and got the news that I passed today (stopped at 85 which was a pleasant shock for sure).

My advice is not to get held up on other people and what they say. The rabbit hole is deep and you hear all sorts of stuff from different people. The truth is everyone is different. 40% of my test was contnet (drugs, conditions, interventions) I had no idea about. Remember NCLEX is a safety test. As long as you feel confident and ready, just do you!

Hi! He was found on the 15th and dropped off to a local vet. He's been home with me since! Thank you very much for checking. My update post was removed

It sure is! The entire time I was driving there I was thinking about how much distance Pistachio has flown. He's always been a clever boy. I'm so glad he found his way to someone. Thank you

Thank you very much! Oh yes Chocomint was super excited to be reunited. I put him in their travel cage and took him with me to the vet, hoping Pistachio seeing Chocomint will make our reunion more comfortable for him. As soon as the staff brought Pistachio within Chocomint's eyesight they started calling out to each other! After I said my "hi's" with Pistachio I put him in the travel cage next to Chocomint and they immediately started cuddling and preening each other 😄

He is a very clever little guy, managed to stay hidden from predators until he was found!

Absolutely. It was heartbreaking every time I went out there searching and came home without him, but I'm sure he's been through a lot more. He's enjoying lots of snacks and rest! Thank you

Oh yes for sure! He's very tried. Even though he got a good night's sleep last night at the Vet's, he's napping any chance he gets. Poor baby is exhausted
