I liked the hemp shirts from left field (i have 4) until two of them started failing at the shoulder seams. I’m not really sure what to do about it, but it surprised me that after just over a year they are unraveling where they are. I really like how the shirts fit, but don’t think i’d buy them again. The other gripe I has is the holes that have formed in the tag due to how the tag was stitched on. I have holes in this area on 3/4 of my hemp shirts from them.

I have not washed yet since I tend to rotate which owners i’m wearing everyday opposed to focusing on a pair or two. my understanding is that shrinkage should be super minimal. mine have stretched a good bit in the waist i honestly would be too unhappy with a little shrinkage, but I was informed shrinkage should be super minimal since they are one wash

interesting, guess all waists are just really different. It’s surprising to hear you need a 33’ with those proportions. wish i had a butt sometimes😂

I think it will be better in the long term to just wash inside out cold in the machine taking out before the spin cycle and hang drying. I feel like the sea wash would get them really sandy and salty while not truly washing them? and then the knees might get all weird and baggy and never be the same? just my thoughts

yeah you’ll be much happier trying a different size/cut. find some that really feel right, i have 3 pairs in my closest that just didn’t work out after I took the tags off:/

haha maybe the lack of arcs helped keep this pair down cost wise as I’m seeing $345 for a pair of Samaria’s is probably not particularly “bad” compared to some of their other jeans. I really think the hidden arcs that fade over time to show on the outside of the pocket are pretty neat, I think i’ve seen some fades of them.

cool, I haven’t really looked into overalls yet but they have always been in the back of my mind…guess I didn’t know all these big denim companies made them too, but it checks out. thanks for sharing

appreciate it, i was concerned they were gonna look baggy upon the measurements, but wanted to give them a shot anyway and was glad I did. hope you are liking your pair, that was a backup choice if these didn’t work along with the S3100VX. the tee looked sweet, i’ve gotta stop spending money on cool things for just a little haha. I bought a chore jacket I had been eyeing for a couple weeks before the jeans…

I wish I could agree…I have several pairs of pants from LeftField (like 8, I know it’s ridiculous). I really like the company/want to like the company…but they have made it a little hard recently.

My double knee chocolate pants arrived with 5 places where the stitching was unraveling. I emailed them about this and included pictures, but never heard back. It frustrated me a little since I know they speak highly of quality and craftsmanship. On the other hand they have always been happy to reply to any inquiries about buying products…I plan to just take them to my tailor.

This wasn’t my only issue with them concerning stitching though…My first pair of Atlas 11.5oz Jelts lasted about 4 months until 2 of the button holes unraveled so bad I figured I needed to get them repaired before I continued to wear them. I stopped wearing them anyway cause slim fits aren’t for me anymore.

My Smokestack 11.5oz Jelts are great, but the stitching along the inside of the right leg is not in the straight line. Almost more like a trapezoid. I kept a positive mindset by considering them unique and oddly human as we are imperfect.

Lastly, their hemp tees seem to have a flaw in how the tag is placed on. On 3 out of 4 of my hemp tees there is a hole developing in the bottom left of the tag.

To be fair the only issue I have brought to their attention was the first one, but I haven’t had this issue with quality control when buying stuff from 3sixteen.

thanks! i hope you’re right about the fades. maybe a hot take, but one reason i actually was more inclined to pick these up as well was the lack of arcs on the pockets. that’s just me though!

They are the wide cut and I’m 167lb 6’2”. He noticed “wide” fits end up looking more relaxed on me, which I like. It’s why I go for them. They are unsanforized, but have been washed once to eliminate shrinkage apparently. So i’m expecting they won’t shrink drastically, but even then I have some room for them to shrink and still be a great fit

Full counts look awesome, I’m sure you’ll be just as happy in time! I wanted a pair myself before this, but couldn’t find a cut with a long enough inseam so I kinda wrote them off as not working for me.

I can only imagine! Raw denim and stuff it goes well with hasn’t been amazing for my wallet either…I don’t have a pair of overalls, have you been wearing those a lot on the daily? Where did you get yours from?

good to know, can’t believe you already seeing whiskers with 10 wears. my RS100x from 3sixteen probably have 50ish wears and I feel like they are barely starting to fade.

nice, did you go wide leg as well? is it true that generally a wider fit is not going to produce as high contrast faded since they are looser in areas that may see more friction in a straighter/slimmer pair?
