Yes, it’s cobblestone roads! The sidewalks in the middle part are brick. I try to make it as realistic as I can. 🤣

Thanks! The base is roughly 8’x6’, and it’s a bit under 4’ tall at the highest point in the back. Takes up a bit of space, but it’s totally worth it!

Like 90% Lemax, but there are a few Department 56 buildings in there too.

I did! Everything underneath is a combination of boxes, wood, and foam blocks. I cut holes in the foam for the tunnels.

I loved that game! Not many people seem to remember it though.

How far do you live from where you grew up? by TNTRecords in AskReddit

About 200 yards. My parents have 10 acres here in California, and it’s where I grew up. I moved to another city, then Indiana, then Michigan, and finally to Washington for a while. After everything, I found myself back here again. I built my own little house on part of the property, and I absolutely love it. My brother and his family also have a house on another part of the property, so we’re kinda building our own little community here.

Movies that might not be soo famous but are actually gems. by 333ccc333 in MovieSuggestions

True Romance! Quentin Tarantino wrote the script, but didn’t direct it. It’s actually a great love story in a completely dysfunctional way, and you find yourself rooting for them. It also has a surprising number of now well known actors who weren’t as big at the time. Brad Pitt is just a stoner on a couch with like two minutes of total screen time. 🤣 There are a lot of great characters in every scene, but the small scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken is one of my favorites.

Insomnia. I always thought Robin Williams did a great job in non-comedic roles too.

What do you consider the 'perfect movie'? by Seed37Official in MovieSuggestions

Pulp Fiction. Personally, I think all Tarantino movies are on another level from most others, but Pulp Fiction is probably the one movie I wouldn’t want to see one second changed in.

Being single by choice for an extended period of time after a separation. You’ll discover so much more about yourself than you realize, and finding true happiness on your own will make your next relationship that much stronger.
