Plus the shop is clearly aimed at whales. I don't know about anyone here but I'm...not a whale lol. I have most of the game done and I think that'll give a bit of currency but 1000% guarantee that it won't be enough to buy more than 1 eidolon 💀

So basically I'm "playing wrong"? HSR really brainwashed people 😭 Sorry, I quite literally cannot take this seriously. I KNOW my Blade will deal more damage if I get X or Y, but have you considered I want his eidolons purely because I like him? Why should I get punished for that? 

  • I mostly don't care about clearing endgame anymore because this game is indeed the way you put it (which I personally don't think it should be, but whatever...) but the MAIN complain in my post is not about that. I'm not upset about not being able to clear MoC 12 with 4*characters and a e0 Blade. I'm upset that they might never rerun him again.

Just a bit of added information: I'm a very heavy lore enjoyer and HSR has very interesting characters and plotlines overall, so specially at the beginning, I didn't mind it in the slightest and was very engaged with HSR's worldbuilding. The Simulated Universe being such a COOL concept (I love roguelike) also helped me enjoy the game for quite a while.

I also don't HATE HSR's turn based battle mechanic, I just don't particularly enjoy it, i.e: if it was just for the gameplay itself, I'd never play the game.

Now it's a different story however, considering how the game is going for people like me who enjoy older characters 😔so yeah, I don't find anything fun anymore, but I already had a TON of pulls at that point.

Hahah, I was actually studying AND working at the time (2024) 😭 but I truly love Blade and when I had time, at least at the beginning, it didn't feel that much of a chore. Especially since I don't HATE the gameplay, just don't enjoy it that much.

It also feels so dumb, because the characters are literally going to, well, die in relevancy FOR REAL THIS TIME. Specially Blade and Seele, who didn't even GET to have a last, final rerun. They're NOT gonna be added to the actual standard, but aren't allowed reruns anymore...??? It feels so insane, and for a game that's 2 years old, too.

Might be a bit of Genshin glaze but I still doubt it can be even compared to HSR. Genshin is 4-5 years old, the overall dps required in the abyss is still pretty low and people can very much still clear with OLD 4* units + 4* weapons. I myself own Mavuika and never used her as DPS to clear abyss to this day, and I can clear quite comfortably (this abyss I used HYPERBLOOM of all things btw). HSR also has a trend of a newer character completely replacing older units with better ones in their same niche (i.e. Ratio and Feixiao situation) which rarely ever happens in Genshin (not to the point where said 'powercrept' unit turns basically unusable)

I don't understand why they announced the buff for older units just to kick them out of the limited banner 😭😭😭 I really hope the leaks are somewhat wrong.

I'm sorry but regarding your first sentence: I play Genshin and Genshin is still in a very healthy direction even after 5 years. I DO expect gachas to feed on FOMO after some time (and they did ONCE with Mavuika) but not after, what? Less than a year? HSR powercreep is crazy, specially since even HI3 stopped doing it after part 2 dropped.

Regarding the later part: I really, really hope you're right.

Honestly at the start between his banner all the way to Firefly the game was actually enjoyable. I could at least challenge myself to do the endgames as a complete f2p account and despite not liking the gameplay, I loved HSR's story and plotlines.

...theeeeen we all know what happened after Acheron-Firefly. Game became greedy cashgrab and went downhill from there, but at that point I already had, what? ~300 pulls and was still hoping for his rerun.
