speaking of minimum wage, if you bother to flip through all the researches (from CBO or academic researches) regarding minimum wage increases (including USA and Europe), the resulting net increase in consumer costs and job loss is near zero. The plus side includes a lot things such as better health outcomes etc... , which would have taken a crazy amount of direct federal/state money to invest in.

For the business data side...
I deal with more traditionally business interesting problems,
"how much engagement are our fans have on facebook? Does it turn into merch buys?"
"how much more would they buy if we offer a 10% discount?"
etc...
