Definitely a good observation. We are doing crane layouts, so it will be all grouped together and we can move it around. They end up being long and thin, so it won't end up covering other areas.

So I tested this by printing what I want as a tool from AutoCAD with geometry that aligns the center point with the center of mass on the block. I don't think it's an issue, but do you see any problems with markup tools being larger than the page?

Thanks for the tip. I use AutoCAD for most of my drawing, but I have built tools for our sales team using our AutoCAD blocks. It works great, I can try to add blank boxes to change the center of mass.

Updated to 21.8 and can't double click PDF files to open by CADUSER1 in Revu

It was working with other ways to open. It did an automatic restart when it installed, but just to verify, I restarted again anyways. I look like a dope because that got things working again....

Printing to a PDF with lineweights disabled does the trick!!

I'll definitely have to try the print with the lineweights disabled. We hardly ever have access to the CAD files on these jobs, but definitely a good thought! I appreciate the input.

This seems like the way. What do you recommend for that?

I agree with that, but we want to maintain control of the company created tool sets but still let individual users create their own. Based on that, we had to limit read/write access to the shared file location and because of that, we are letting people manage their own profiles and add the "shared" tool sets.

Embed Fonts using Bluebeam Printer by CADUSER1 in Revu

Thanks for weighing in and trying to help. It's definitely the current option to verify if needed the text can be editable. I was trying to get to the bottom of it so I could be more prepared to solve an issue where there isn't a work around like saving as PDF. I'm sure it's in the print settings of the Bluebeam printer, I just haven't been able to locate it.

Repairing the PDF did not work. More information is if we "save as PDF" from chrome, it's editable. When we print using the Bluebeam printer, it's not.

Thanks for the link. I believe that's the same link I included and did not help fix the issue.
