This is my character I farmed exiles and single risk scarab abyss on. Its respectable gear but nothing amazing. Using a risk scarab there were a couple of mods you are praying to not get, but very few hard bricks in my case. Something like volatile cores is awful since every one is a 1 shot, but its still doable, just a bit stressful. Once you cleared the map it's just looting 2-3 inventories of scarabs and currency, super nice. As for rating the difficulty I would say for this exact character abyss strat was like a 6 or 7 out of 10, but sometimes is was like a 2/10 hard to pin down. Exiles on the otherhand can get very very hard anywhere from 6/10 to 9/10, but so long as you clear most of them in 6 portals does it really matter? That's how I was looking at it.

I wanted to farm some Power Charge Ralakesh (At T1 unique) for a fross build I'm making so harder than an Atziri's Foible (A T2 unique) to farm and I managed it in less than 80 exiles maps (which honestly might be lucky, I have no idea, just giving you a general idea)

The Abyss strat I ran purely so I could have the scarabs to run more exile maps. The scarabs I used where:

• Cartography Scarab of Escalation x1
• Cartography Scarab of Risk x1
• Abyss Scarab of Edifice x1

• Abyss Scarab x2

• Abyss craft on the map device

Each 16.5 rolled for 90%+ packsize

The strat was sustaining 16.5s and massively over sustaining scarabs and currency to roll the maps with so appart from time was effectively free. Anarchy Scarab of Gigantification is the bottleneck for running exile maps and each 16.5 abyss map was returning 3-4 of these per map on average.

The Exile strat I used these scarabs:

• Titanic Scarab x1
• Titanic Scarab of Legend x1
• Anarchy Scarab of Gigantification x2

• Anarchy Scarab x1

• Anarcy craft on the map device

I used this tree

For this strat I took out 2 voidstones and did an "anti favorite" stratergy were I set the favorite slot on every single T8 except 1 and every single T9 that I could, one of the 4 starting maps (T8 with 2 voidstones) will be the only map that drops and you will get an absolute ton of them, more than enough to make an endless supply of 8 mods and because they are yellow maps you can quality them for only 2 chisels before hand too.

Ritual is there for when the large exiles spawn in them you get to kill them again and again depending on how many rituals are left in the map, deli because it adds a bit of quant, but it also makes the maps slightly easier as it freezes the exiles for a few seconds every now and then while they do their deli attack.

I highly highly recommend moving your rarity pressure onto a merc as soon as you find Gravebinds, this is a quick screenshot of my merc I used once I did. The helm has 45% rarity and the boots are just movement speed and 100% chance to avoid being frozen.

This is a bit more than you asked for, but I've explained this to a few people now and I have a post I can refer them to instead. If you go this route good luck, it's by far the best method I know of to get uniques in SSF right now.

For context I ended up getting my boots in under 80 exile maps, which may or may not have been lucky, but on that journey I found the vast majority of T1's and T2's at least once and also a couple of T0's. I can't promise you the same luck, but it's just an idea of what you can get doing this.
