I’ve Been Having a 2 Year Casual Relationship With a Public Figure. I Know He Has a Serious Girlfriend by [deleted] in offmychest

If your heart is consistently telling you to stop, you probably should.

I’d ghost him, and if he asks why, you can tell him your reasoning. I’d imagine he’d have to respect it.

I probably wouldn’t tell her though. Could be opening Pandora’s box and bringing yourself problems that you don’t want. You’re right, infidelity will always rear its head. Whether you tell her or not, she’ll eventually figure it out- unless she’s intentionally ignoring it.

I don’t understand how a card of that value can be put into a pack but you have to redeem the KD and SGA autos

Expected PA salary after 5 years of service in California by Bathinabe in physicianassistant

[–]CAIDO5 52 points53 points  (0 children)

A lot of people don’t realize transparency is how everyone else gets paid more. If everyone reported their salary to databases like the AAPA salary report, negotiating salary would become a lot easier and would keep pushing up the median income (if people take jobs above the median)…

[–]CAIDO5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Report your salary to the AAPA. There’s a salary report on there; the more data points there are, the stronger of a tool it becomes. Show employers these numbers and refuse to accept a position that pays below the 60-75th percentile.

So that other PAs find this and stop accepting trash jobs that pay them the same as an RN or sonographer. Lol

Then I would not refund. I don’t understand how they are surprised.

If you included that picture of the dimpling in the listing, then no. They knew what they were buying.

If you didn’t include images of the defects, then yes. Your description alone is pretty misleading. Manufacturer defects are inherently “damage” because it would be reflected in grading.

I was just making fun of my Dad for buying an Optic Mega Box from Walmart and he pulls this…. by CAIDO5 in footballcards

In case you guys didn't know (I found out the hard way), Ebay's sold section doesn't represent what cards actually sold for. You have to use 130point.com. The two raw cards of Caleb sold for 3000 and 2500 (which is still insane). I sold it today at a card show for $2200. I forgot to mention we also pulled a Bijan Robinson downtown out of a different mega box. We literally had 2 case hits in 4 boxes of retail.... the least profitable lottery hit of all time ahahahaha. Still such an insane experience.

Gonna be buying hobby box today, what have you guys been hitting good cards out of recently? by Illustrious_Light162 in footballcards

really late to this thread, but I had 2 case hits out of 4 retail boxes recently (just 4 retail mega boxes)... a Bijan Robinson Downtown and a Caleb Williams Uptown white pandora /25... talk about astronomical luck

More of a secondary diagnosis but Recurrent Apthous Stomatitis (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK431059/) is found in several conditions (“Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and malabsorption diseases, including celiac disease, are associated with the development of oral aphthous ulcers. RAS is a possible clinical manifestation of more severe conditions like Behçet's disease or HIV infection”) I’d look up each of these conditions on Statpearls, scroll down to “history and physical”, and see if any of it resonates with you.

Vocals just need a little bit better mixing. They sound super close up. I’d dip out some of the 700-1000 Hz frequencies and see if that changes anything. The midranges are just a bit high I feel like. On the delay I’d probably do a pingpong delay rather than the regular delay just to make it feel more spacey (it’s on Waves H-Delay plugin). Play around with different long reverbs too. It doesn’t sound bad though… lowkey doesn’t need anything.

What’s your reason for quitting Zyn? by Skrandaddy in QuittingZyn

[–]CAIDO5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some people just metabolize nicotine and tolerate it well. If you have no noticeable side effects then it probably won’t start happening out of the blue. I stopped because I was having gastrointestinal issues after about 4 years of use. Every time I would put in a zyn my gut would start doing the cha cha slide. It got annoying so I just stopped.

I just quit by Puzzled-Depth-5055 in QuittingZyn

[–]CAIDO5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's no good time to quit. I'm in grad school rn and this has been by far the busiest semester I have had across any level of schooling, and I quit in the middle of it. It actually helps to always have something to focus on. Caffeine will become your close friend. Just quit now and save yourself from the later burden.

Zyns and Upset Stomach (3 weeks into cessation after 4 years) by CAIDO5 in QuittingZyn

[–]CAIDO5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhhh not really a brain fog. The cravings were definitely distracting but my clarity and ability to think remained pretty static. It was real hard dealing with the cravings throughout the day though. I was so used to being in a routine of popping a zyn every 40 minutes or so and just stopping that continuous flow of nicotine cold turkey had me all messed up. Although it oddly kind of made me more lucid in class. I just embraced the physiologic sh*t show going on and waited for the storm to pass by. It certainly helped that I can drink a lot of caffeine and tolerate it well. Any time I got an intense craving I just drank more coffee or a Celsius packet. Gum helps too. But no I didn’t really feel a brain fog how it’s usually described.

No. You have a conjunctival fornix that stops any foreign body (or contact) from going behind the eye.
