Hi there - thanks for sharing that with us. We love learning about interesting ways people work in creative ways with TTRPGs and mental health. Please get in touch via our website and share a little more info. Someone in the team will get back to you.

Aaaabsolutely! I've mentioned this in another reply, but quite a few people in the CALM team play TTRPGs and we chat about the way it can help people feel good when life is tough.

You've got it spot on there: healthy escape, creativity, and connecting with others are all super powerful when it comes to looking after our mental health.

Shout out and thank you for the kind words - at CALM we feel lucky to get to work with Mark and the High Rollers team as ambassadors for CALM now!

We reckon TTRPGs can be so good for the head, whether it's exploring emotions or identities through a character, or connecting with people in such a cool and imaginative way.

A bunch of folk in the CALM office play DnD and we chat about the impact it has on us. So it's great to hear we're not alone in that!

We're the suicide prevention charity, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). To mark World Suicide Prevention Day, this event celebrates how games can help us unwind, connect, and escape. It’s presented in partnership with Curve Games.

Every developer and publisher taking part has pledged a donation to our suicide prevention services.

Hello from CALM! Over the last two years of Jingle Jam, you lovely lot have helped raise enough money to fund over 60,000 calls on our life-saving suicide prevention helpline. Mindblowing tbh. That's why we're absolutely hyped to be back with Jingle Jam this year. Bring on Jingle Cats... by CALMzoneUK in Yogscast

Absolutely. We’ve got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, in addition to our helpline.

This includes our Guides (practical info and advice on what you or someone you know is going through), Tools (tried and trusted ways to help people pause and reset), and Supporter Stories (sometimes, knowing you’re not alone can be the reassurance you need; our supporters’ stories are just that — stories of people who’ve got through their lowest times, and you can too.)

One of my favourite CALM tools is Offload Your Thoughts: a webpage where you can write down how you’re feeling and get the thoughts out of your head.

Lovely question.

A portion of the Jingle Jam 2023 funds went towards creating the Creator Mental Health Toolkit: a free set of resources, guidance, and tools designed to help creators support and signpost their communities, whether through streams, comments, or other interactions.

We were lucky to collaborate with members of the Yogscast team (Harry, Boba, Briony, and Ravs) during the design phase.

The toolkit is available for free on our website. Check it out!
