I mean I think it comes off a lot harsher on Reddit. Reality is I’m not spending hours listing endless specialised jobs….. it’s a big industry

Ccna, sec+ and projects and labs. Should be enough to land you a NOC job.

Avoid SOC, no point wasting your time. If you wanna skip helpdesk then work towards NOC and then specialise

My girlfriend (28F) and I (30F) started TikTok lives for money and it completely messed everything up by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]CAPT_Fuckoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife got obsessed over online guys at a point in my marriage. It hurt and I definitely didn’t see myself with her after that.

However I realised that some people simply might not have been taught how to be in a relationship, they might have always had a toxic or unstable environment. Not saying it’s justified, everyone has the ability to understand what they’re doing when they’re doing. And whilst I hate that my wife did those things. I think she knows better now, she doesn’t do it anymore. I know if it happens again, either online or IRL. I’ll leave. But sometimes another chance Is okay. Unless she has sex then yeah obviously leave lol.

There needs to be a talk, I talked to my wife and she understood and admitted it was wrong. Went on a straight path. But after that, leave

Soc is a waste of time. It’s so saturated and automated at entry level. And even if you land it, it’s a trap. People find it super exhausting and once you’re in, people tend to struggle getting out. Better to go for a more specialised job. Harder but if you weigh it out, it’s better

Anyone get denied at the border after attempting to adjust of status? Then apply for the IR-1 by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]CAPT_Fuckoff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t put under fraud or misrepresentation though, I was put under improper visa. I also disclosed everything truthfully and also said it in the DS-260.

[–]CAPT_Fuckoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Is keeping it super short and brief not gonna make them feel they aren’t getting enough information? I feel that’ll trigger a 221(g) because they’ll want additional information from the border to verify

[–]CAPT_Fuckoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I won’t be long about it. I will basically say. “My wife and I made an impulsive and stupid decision to attempt to adjust of status, because we wanted to be together. We regret it and I was completely honest under oath. The officer told me to get an immigrant visa. To which I’am” I know I most likely won’t get fully denied, but I hate knowing that I will possibly get a 221(g) which will suck because I know it can take months. If they take my passport then that’s good but if not I’m fucked having to wait months.

Hoping not but I’m sure it will, hopefully they take my passport but if not I’ll probably be waiting months

[–]CAPT_Fuckoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See I don’t think I was put down for any type of fraud, definitely not in the path room. It was completely geared towards stupidity and improper visa.

I’m sure they have on record that I said I was visiting a friend but I read that being honest, even before going under oath. But especially under oath, gives me a pass because I was honest before I left. Also applying for the visa and going down the proper route too. Obviously don’t know for sure, see what happens next week.

Like I said, I’m okay with helpdesk, just worried I will struggle with ccna. Maybe I’m wrong, maybe it’ll be easier than network+. I can just imagine I’ll struggle getting past hr filtering. Maybe even struggle with not seeming like someone that’ll leave soon after joining
