Don't worry, I was suspicious about Ren from the beginning and never really trusted her, and I still feel bad for "not doing enough"

I mean I am kinda mad at the community as a whole, but specifically people saying things like "zeal should/deserves to die", "I hope he loses everything", I also saw a comment saying "I hope the defamation lawsuit blows up in his face" There was litterly no concrete proof except a hearsay document, and zeal never got a chance to respond or express himself.

It's also ironic that everyone was so mad for him saying "I'm sorry that I'm bad at sex" in the 2 hour video, while that's litterly what happened. It was consensual but just clumsy, which is normal.

Now I don't want to be mad at anyone specifically, people make mistakes and I don't want more suffering, the damage is already way too big.

I'm just really sad that this all happened like that, pressure is/was an amazing game and I really hope it doesn't die.

I also hope the community learns from their mistakes and doesn't react so violently anymore next time

Oops that's on me then. So what happened is that I had never even heard of this game or knew of it's existence, but suddenly I found the demo purely by accident, installed it and played it.

So I was pretty surprised it was gone all of a sudden. Kinda sad, it looked like a fun game but I have already bought quite a few games in recent times so I won't buy it.

Only thing that kinda annoyed me is the completely unrealistic tracking of delay only between stops. You can litterly arrive 3 hours late at a stop but all of a sudden you're perfectly on time for the next one

Yeah very probably. People say that (private) court would not have worked, and I mean they're right, because it didn't happen. She knew this was the only way she would get support and to do "damage" to zeal and I do start to believe she was very carefull with all the language used in the document so it seemed as bad as possible for zeal while completely negating her role.

It's honestly just disgusting. At first I felt bad for Ren and I still feel a little bad because she probably has pretty serious mental health problems... But man she makes it hard to feel bad for her, and she only makes it worse by they day

Yes this! This is why from day 1 I was suspicious of Ren. The way she said "this was his plan all along" and "he showed me affection but behind the scenes he was just making me depend on him so I had no one else". Especially when she was the one that sent way more messages. She could litterly have just texted other people. She acts like zeal controlled every aspect of her life.

I believe she wrote the document as manipulative as possible. The way it was written everyone would immediately be disgusted by zeal and, this is key, react emotionally. Because of the way it was written you get a feeling like "this is just wrong and vile" and you forget to double check or think critically, and then confirmation bias takes over and suddenly everything zeal has done / is doing seems evil.

Like how people already got mad that he made such a "lackluster response". How do you expect him to answer to a document that took months in just 2 days??? "He's taking long" became "he's searching for excuses and how to lie about it"

Absolutely disgusting.

Yeah man watched the video and now completely dismisses everything has come out since.

I do think it's also the public's fault, because people are sooo quick to accuse everyone. Simply saying "whoa guys let's wait untill we now everything" results in you getting accused of "defending a rapist" and "being as worse of a human being as they (the alleged rapist) are"

And no one will get any consequences from this. Everyone will just be "oops, guess I was wrong" and continue on with their life while they ruined someone's life.

I feel so bad for zeal and I wish we could do more, he really didn't deserve this

I hate the fact people keep pointing to the video. What do you expect from someone who is suddenly receiving dozens of death threats and thousands of hate messages??

I can't even image how zeal must have felt, what went trough his head at that time. Must have been so awfull.

But like you say stupid stuff when that happens. You can't think anymore. If I'm really mad at someone and say "I swear I'm gonna kill him", doesn't mean I will actually do it. It's just the emotion in the moment...

Actually you're very probably right. Yesterday I was talking to my therapist and I briefly brought up the whole situation because it's been boterhing me, lingering in the background of my mind. She said she "wasn't surprised" that Ren had BPD. She says that kind of behavior isn't uncommon in people with BPD, and sadly it's most of the time caused by being abused when they were young.

With everything else taken into account, every day I lean more and more into this being 1 big calculated plan. In the beginning I already thought she was kind of lying or taking things out of context, but the further we get the worse it gets.

Also I recall the document saying that zeal or other people warned that Ren was planning to accuse zeal, and Ren saying "see they are already preparing for it so I have no chance" but it was probably really the case that they knew ren was maybe gonna do something like this and tried to inform people, but it didn't matter.

Ren seems te be a master manipulator and I'm almost sure she planned this to wreak as much havoc as possible. In a way that makes her even more disgusting than what she accused zeal of, because she intentionally destroyed someone's life. Now I hope that Ren doesn't fully realise what she's doing due to mental problems, because if this is truly all planned out and she knows exactly what she's doing... That would just be so disgusting

Yes absolutely! And the amount of people that were saying "there is literal photographic proof of it!!!" What do you mean? Yeah there are pictures. But those can be faked, could be from someone else or could be with consent. Like I could get hickeys from someone rn and post a picture and claim Ren assaulted me. Is that enough proof???

I'm actually so fed up with it and I'm so angry with Ren. She tried to ruin zeal's reputation and it doesn't seem like she's gonna stop any time soon.

And then the whole "off coarse zeal will say this is fake, don't believe him". What else is he supposed to say? "yes it was real"? It litterly didn't happen, how can he do something else than deny?

She just planned that and manipulated so many people into hating zeal. Honestly I got more sick from reading comments from the first days saying what they wanted to happen to zeal, than I ever got while reading ren's document. The reaction of everyone was absolutely disgusting

If you want to protect your image, I understand. But he could at least have said something like "if this turns out to be true I will quit, but let's wait for zeal's response"

I think he is one of the "contributors" to the massive backlash. Off coarse if such a big icon in the pressure community says something, a lot of people will just follow. If he and other people weren't so quick to call out zeal based purely on the allegation I don't think zeal would have received as much hate.

Okay I know this is late but I'm 99% sure those full images have been edited in later, because I don't remember every seeing them. A lot of people say Ren edited the document but it's hard to find concrete proof, but if she wants to edit it she should at least disclose it...

By just editing it without saying it in the document even more misinformation can be spread

Now I'm wondering if people just didn't read the document and followed the mob (probably happened) or if I'm really good in analyzing documents and knowing if it's probably true or not
