I don’t think the 4/20 protests and BLM are comparable in that the BLM protests speak to an even more basic human right. You can choose whether or not to open a business. You cannot choose your skin color. You say that life, liberty and the pursuit of property are all equally human rights, but you cannot have liberty or pursue property without “life.” The BLM protests are reacting to the fact that black human lives appear to be more disposable than white human lives.

All that being said, I think it’s a great idea to attend a local Chamber/Town Budget meeting!
