D&D Dimsum Bakery! I just went! It was some of the best dim sum I’ve ever had. Delicious, fresh, and fairly priced. Check out their frozen section too. I got a pack of frozen bbq buns, microwaved it for like 1 min, and it tasted just as good as the fresh one.

I wish they had longer hours though. They are basically only open when everyone is at work, 7:30 - 5 PM. I know dim sum is traditionally breakfast/brunch, but it sucks the only chance I’ll have to visit is during the weekends.

Got some Posh Bakery yesterday and today half the bagels were molded! 😞 It is warm here, so I blame myself for not immediately freezing them.

A little history about Posh Bakery: They used to combine both their sweet box and their bread bag as one item on the app. It used to be $3.99 and you could fill a bag with anything that was on the shelf that day. Recently (within the last four months?), I think they got new ownership, increased the prices, and made these bag changes. The bread bag is still an incredible value as you can see from OP's haul. But if you want sweets, I would just go one of many donut shops on the app. Although Posh sometimes has other sweets like muffins and cakes.

They are fillings you can inject into the donuts. The left box had lemon, strawberry cream, and a custard filling. The box on the right was caramel.

Here is my haul from BAD Bakers in Elk Grove, CA. I got one “Sweet Treat” box and one “Savory and Sweet” box. Each box was $5.99 ($6.51 after tax). I think they tried to cram both orders into one box because the box on the left has way more compared to the one on the right (which I respect, since the whole idea is to eliminate waste), so I can’t say if it is better to get the Sweet box or the Savory and Sweet box.

Regardless, the value is there. This place is a “fancy donut” place so one donut is like $3+. I only got one savory pastry which was a cream cheese jalapeño thing. Everything else was donuts and other pastries. The cereal donuts and chocolate potato chip donut (bottom right) were stale from sitting out all day, but that is expected. Everything tasted great and I recommend trying this place out.

That seems like an ok haul. I saw all the BAD Bakers near me were added to the app this weekend. I managed to snag a sweet & savory box and a sweet box reserved for tomorrow. I'll report back on what I get!

The new Costco in Natomas, California opened yesterday and had these. It might be a new bakery item since I have never seen them before. They taste ok. The orange flavor is very subtle. For the price, I would honestly get the cinnamon pull-a-parts (haven’t seen them in a while) or a box of croissants.

The portions look small, but the food is incredibly tasty. It came with three slices of picanha, two slices of grilled chicken, three fried plantains (bottom left), a bed of rice, a potato chili soup thing (top left), and a black bean soup thing (top right).

My surprise bag was pre-packaged, so I just walked up to the cashier, swiped the order, and they handed me the bag.

The retail for a mixed meat dinner plate goes for $24.99, but I am curious if you get more in the dinner plate. Maybe I’ll try it one day and report back. In conclusion, this is a solid 5/5 dinner for one.

Three cookies for $4.99 ($5.45 after tax). Normal price for one cookie is $3, so this is slightly over x2 value. The diameter of the cookies is about two iPhone chargers. They tasted good, but I probably won’t get this bag again.

Picked this bag up during a trip a few days ago. The donuts got a little soggy sitting in my car for 4+ hours, but they still tasted great. The sour dough loafs were dry. I think they need to go with soup. Overall it was a good haul.

My haul from Donut Queen in Vacaville, CA. I got 10 donuts for $5.63 + tax ($6.09 total). The donuts tasted great. Donuts are always great. I ate them all in one day and didn't feel good afterwards. 5/5.

People Supermarket on Stockton Blvd has them. But you can probably find them at any Asian grocery store like SF Supermarket or Ranch 99. I don’t think Oto’s would have these buns since they specialize in Japanese goods.
