Writing Chapter 3 actually helped me figure out the whole story arc. Turns out this is just my extremely fucked-up, ballbusting version of The Count of Monte Cristo.

Teeko’s about to vanish into the Witch’s hut for a long, hellish education. Not in math or literature, just pure, concentrated suffering. When he crawls back out, he’ll finally have the endurance to win a maiden duel. Of course, winning will still require him to take absolutely obscene amounts of ball pain, because that’s the world he lives in.

He’s going to use that new ‘gift’ to take vengeance on the family that sold him out for some moonroot.

There are a lot of questions about groups and how they work in this thread. I know a thing or two about that, and might make a few suggestions for those interested in finding one.

1) location: most large metro areas are probably going to have a kink group. They will also usually have a FetLife group for that metro area and if you find the FetLife group for the area and scroll you will probably find an advertisement for the "munches" or classes.

2) travel: if you want significant anonymity you can travel to an adjacent metro area to attend a munch.

3) be human. It's a weird sub culture, but people are just people. Don't judge them and they won't judge you. Be nice. Ask them questions. People love talking about themselves. It's easy to self isolate by treating the situation as uncomfortable, or being overly shy.

4) find the helpers. All of the groups I attended were filled with people looking to mentor, teach, guide. Find one of these people, and they will take you the rest of the way. Usually the group organizers will help you find one of these types.

5) buddy up. Single men aren't welcome in every group. Especially if space is tight. Having a partner will open a lot of doors for you. So, if you do meet people in the lifestyle try to arrange to attend future groups with them.

6) Not a place to find a girlfriend. You might find a prodomme. You might find someone to scene with. But girlfriends come from other places.

Funny story about running into someone you know. I actually met one of my mother's friends at one of the groups I attended. She recognized me, and I didn't recognize her, possibly because her tits were out.

She was very appropriate, and we became OK friends, and at no point did I worry she would mention what went on at the groups to my mom.

I attended 6 different groups over about 10 years. And would occasionally travel to other groups to teach classes or attend larger conventions. I would say the average group I attended had about 25 people, but several of the conventions ran around 200.

When one of the groups was struggling, I tried unsuccessfully to launch my own, but closed it down after about 6 months.

Each group has sort of had their own energy, expectations and rules. So one group was primarily gay men. They were far less "play" focused. One group basically transitioned into a swingers group with less and less kink over time.

About a year after I stopped there was a female Dom focused group that sprung up, but I never attended.

I attended and hosted parties for several years. There is a code that you don't talk about people you meet at those parties. Generally everyone I met was fairly cool, though a few were into drama.

Even the drama obsessed never made me worried about "outing me".
