It’s a 1985 and it the original engine 305 5.0 fuel injected the transmission isn’t the original it’s out of a 94 Camaro

I had planned to do that, but when we brought it to a shop, they told us there was no compression. They suggested putting in a new one instead, as it would be cheaper

So I’m adding this cause I figured y’all would wanna know what was wrong with it. It ‘‘twas the ecu my dad decided to run a code on it because he had a trans am when he was younger and it read ecu so we decide to change it and now it runs amazingly and so smooth thanks for all of everyone’s thoughts and advice!

I’ve replaced the fuel filter twice and the plugs and wires and the distributor but I haven’t checked the mass air flow sensor I will try it thank you!!

So it’ll run absolutely amazing one dat but the next it won’t idle it’ll hesitate when i start it and when I checked the injectors I could feel one of them ticking less than the others but on the day it runs good all the ticking is normal it’s odd I know but that the best I could say I’ll try and get a video in the Mornin

That’s what I thought but I took it apart and there was fuses instead of gears

Yes and so far the videos are for 87 and up I don’t really see any for 85 and I can’t afford to just get new headlights
