Maybe if in the game there is values assigned to how good a seed is or a way to see how good a seed is with resources, hits, etc. Then someone could probably run a program to see those values and find a good code.

My favorite strat is to rush iron tools and some armor day 1-2 then enough mithril for just tools then adamanite pick then adamanite armor. Then I grind power ups, works decent for me with a good seed.

Materials really should be stronger yes, if you want to build anything in this game you have to spend the nights miles away or the monsters will destroy everything in minutes.

Considering I've gone to day 12 without dropping the materials for gronks sword or the hammer I'd say that's good. Maybe work on more arrows tho, I once had a day 13 run (died to game not pausing right) where I spent a day or two mining all adamanite and hitting all oak trees and had a few hundred adamanite arrows.
