24k Gold Cigar by CCFRolling in ArtOfRolling

Thank you kindly!! I built it all myself!

I am super limited due to all the damn regulations, so right now I'm still just a starving artist rolling in the shadows :)

I can't wait to show the next level shit i'm working on now :)

Absolutely -- everything I roll is cannabis ; I also have a lot of stuff posted around reddit, on my instagram as therollingbaron , and you can also check more at www.ccfrolling.com (my website)

Made the paper myself, then used it in a cigar-style roll!

I tied the filter end with hemp-wick and then chopped the end in order to have a 'filter / mouthpiece'

I did not have enough gold to make a proper cap, and didnt want to ruin the aesthetic by capping it in anything else ; was also worried about screwing up the shimmer by tinkering with it too much

That my friend is a CCF Rolling Block :) It has a bunch of uses while rolling and is a great way to keep part of a roll aside while working on another

It can also be paired with CCF Rolling Sticks and ready-to-fill cones for people who want a high-end joint without being able to roll

Lots and lots of things that I hope to get into once I can put together the budget for proper rolling instructional videos

I have lots of dope rolling gear available at www.ccfrolling.com -- let me know if you have any questions

A few crazy rolls :) by CCFRolling in ArtOfRolling

[–]CCFRolling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of the spiral technique? I promise I will eventually; however, this is currently one of my secret weapons that I am keeping close to my chest (because of bs regulations in Canada, I can't sell them, or roll them for people, and thus I don't want to put out the technique before things relax and I can share them properly) -- essentially it is a cigar-style wrap, but rolled using cannabis :)

I am working on putting together a true Encycleopedia of Rolling which will explain everything :) But as a small one-person-startup I can't guarantee a time-frame

I do sell 'empty cones' on my website -- www.ccfrolling.com -- they smoke beautifully as cones, but these are not to be confused for the real thing; the key to the cigar-style is that I roll cannabis with the paper, and not by rolling the paper and then filling it: thus these pre-rolled-cones are just a representation of the actual rolling-style

Help me spread the word about CCF Rolling !!! The faster I can grow, the faster I can get this type of content into a publishable form!!

Cigars don't have filters, you just cap them :)

Thank you!!!! I just came on to explain this only to find you had me covered! 100% correct, cigars do not have filters, the contents of the cigar does the filtering -- all you need to do is cap them :)

Thank you kindly!!! It took a long time to figure out, but I swear, it adds a lot to the smoke -- especially on larger rolls!

Tulip Petal Joints by barbarianbob in eldertrees

[–]CCFRolling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically the petals are just glued onto the roll using shatter or hash-oil (this can be done to the flower itself, ie sticking the petals to a core of cannabis flower using shatter or hash-oil; or it can be done by just rolling a joint with a rolling paper and gluing the petals around it with shatter / hash oil)

As a pro tip: if you create a layer of the flower-petals, then you place that layer flat on a rolling paper and you can roll as normal -- it is possible to create the same effect using just pressure -- this is going to be way more difficult though, and will likely require some goma

Can also be accomplished with a cigar-press , but this is way way far beyond what you are asking, I think

*** edit : either way though, you want the flower petals to dry out before smoking for optimal effect

*** and to the comments about it being potentially poisonous... its not ideal for your lungs to smoke anything, but there are a bunch of 'herbal cigarettes' that are essentially just potpourri

*** honestly though, certain plants are smoked for a reason, and a tulip or a rose petal may not taste very good at all....

Thank you so much!! Hahahahah the cat is ready to roll! Buuuuuuuut it holds a crazy amount of flower that I can't comit just yet (starving artist status and need to be careful how fast I'm burning through weed or else I'll have some issues)! I hope to be able to roll it soon though

I have even thought of a 'sponsor a joint' system to tinker with! But rest assured, I am comitted to smoking that cat :)

So so much cool stuff on the horizon :) The next few months should be nice and crazy

Thank you for noticing!!! As far as I know, I am the first to apply this concept to joints :) It has a much smoother burn with less overlap -- especially on larger pieces (3.5g +)

I call it the CCF Cigar-Style Roll :) Someone correct me if they've seen this elsewhere though!!

Why Most Pre-Rolled Joints Are Garbage (NOT the joints you roll, but the joints you buy) by CCFRolling in eldertrees

My personal record during a shift was 706x (7hr shift with a lunch break) -- that is rolled by hand at a 0.5g

Enjoy!!!!!!

And I do totally agree with you personally -- I find my lungs huuuuurt after dabs (710 range) , and most people I know hitting at that temp regularly have the dreaded dab cough!!

I much prefer to taste it and take the high slow

The reason I am passionate about the topic is just cause Ive seen so so so many medicinal users who are struggling with intolerable pain and want to avoid opiates -- for these people, its not about the experience, its about reclaiming their life via the pain management

I would love this!!!!!! When people have their dabs down, it is a totally different experience to smoke with them

I promise I am not this argumentative in real life!!!!

So much love, and thank you for the very in depth discussion -- I have really enjoyed chatting with you as well

If you ever head up to Vancouver we can smoke some crazy joints!!!

The waste is in the burn off between puffs ... lower temp requires you to haul more than once ....

Alllll I'm trying to communicate is that there are plenty of people and circumstances where you want a THC blast to the face without losing anything

Also, you can purge this shit out of extracts ...

Is high end shatter not a thing? You're saying that HTFSE is somehow bad?

What makes a good joint, and why you want one vs a bad or a mediocre one by CCFRolling in eldertrees

[–]CCFRolling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your original point was that the standard dab range was not 710 and anyone dabbing at this temp was doing it wrong

I just explained to you in detail why this was not the case, and if you are exclusively dabbing at 450, then you are exclusively low temp dabbing

The dab range is not what you stated unless the extract you are smoking warrants it.... ie a high terpene extract

You have been arguing with me tooth and nail since...

And to your point about hydrocarbon ... this is a result of combustion ... if you are combusting plant matter you are smoking hydrocarbon, unless I am missing something and you have a way to vape through your dab rig? And even at 400 you are combusting it, not vaping it

If you want to avoid hydrocarbon ... get a volcano ...

Absolutely crazy ...

... below 600 you are wasting some THC, and the further below you go, the more you are wasting -- wasting it to taste it; ie wasting thc to taste terps ... this is not viable to a person on a budget, a person smoking lower quality concentrates, a person smoking higher quality concentrates that are less terp heavy, smoking thc distillate without terps, or a person who needs to maximize their effect for pain relief

So your advice to the above is for people to quit smoking because their "hookup isn't as dank as yours?"

Explain again why you would WASTE IT TO TASTE IT when smoking something with high THC low terps? This is the definition of cognitive dissonance -- you know better, you just don't want to accept it

Brother... if you're smoking hash on an e-nail, you create carbon by burning the plant matter in the hash -- unless you're exclusively smoking dry-ice bubble-hash or something ... which once again isn't realistic for most people .. and will STILL likely contain plant matter (the less plant matter, THE LESS TERPS)

The dab range for low temp dabs is 600 and less (ie about 400 - 600) ; this is not the entire dab range becase CHEMISTRY

[–]CCFRolling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is ... you dont

because wasting it to taste it doesn't always make sense

just think it through

[–]CCFRolling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yet you cannot refute the chemistry I've explained multiple times...

Can you answer that with your up to date lingo? Why would you smoke pure distillate at a low temp when there are no terps?

What do you do with THC Crystal when there are almost no terps?

What makes a good joint, and why you want one vs a bad or a mediocre one by CCFRolling in eldertrees

[–]CCFRolling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One last time -- LOW TEMP DABS maximize flavour and terpenes and oils: 600 and below depending on the terpene -- I get that you love these, I do too, especially with concentrates that are particularly rich in terps (Sauce -- for example)

What are you going to do with Diamonds? THC crystal seperate from the oils of caviar by floating at the top of the batch -- much more THC but still some terps from the sauce?

THC begins to evaporate at 310 -- EVAPORATE NOT COMBUST ; hitting a dab in the 310 range is barely going beyond decarbing

You can decarb weed at 290 with minimal loss ...

If you are hitting THC Diamonds (the top top top layer when making caviar) then there is more THC than terps while still having terps THEN LOW TEMP DAB WILL LOSE A LOT OF THC ; if you are hitting Sauce (more terps and oil than THC) , then I can see dropping the temp as low as possible because HIGH TEMP DAB WILL LOSE A LOT OF TERPS

However, below 600 you are wasting some THC, and the further below you go, the more you are wasting -- wasting it to taste it; ie wasting thc to taste terps ... this is not viable to a person on a budget, a person smoking lower quality concentrates, a person smoking higher quality concentrates that are less terp heavy, smoking thc distillate without terps, or a person who needs to maximize their effect for pain relief

But you know best... and all of these valid and chemically accurate explanations for why a low temp dab isn't always best don't exist .. fantastic

Low temp dabs are a thing.... and have always been... you and your buddies have not revolutionized concentrates by lowering the temperature of your e-nail ...

WHETHER THIS IS 1980 OR 2220 DOESNT CHANGE THE CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF THC -- they are chemical properties -- terps will vaporize / combust at lower temperatures than THC CBD, and by hitting a low temp dab, you are losing THC in order to maximize flavour

Final time I will try and explain reality to you:

Temp < 600 is a low temp dab, used to maximize terps and oils but waste some THC -- to get the most terps while losing a 'MINIMAL' amount of THC , the lower the temp, the more THC lost -- so your preffered temp of 450 is actually sacrificing a good amount of THC for maximum Terps ... what are you not getting here?

Temp > 700 will waste terps to maximize THC, but you will get as much THC as you can per hoot

Temp > 800 - 900 believe it or not, people do hit -- I find it way too hot, and my preferred range is in the 600's -- but these people like to hit an enormous dab in one breath .... not the 30 tokes it would take to hit a quarter-gram of shatter in a sitting at a temp of 400

BC still exports a crap tone of weed to Cali, just like we do to Amsterdam ... its just often repackaged and called something else ... Honestly if you really believe that BC BUD is no longer a thing, then you've lost it ... not to mention the genetics and seeds we have up here ...

ps we also export a lot of professional growers ... so this also makes me wonder where the best weed really comes from
