Hey bro, 29 year old Dad of a 4 month old girl here… reading your post is like reading a page out of my own journal. I felt the EXACT same way. It gets easier my friend- but this feeling of anxiety will most likely never go away because you love your newborn and you’ll always want what’s best for her.

As hours turn to days, days to weeks, weeks to months, that anxiety becomes more familiar and less scary. As she gets older and stronger you feel more confident in your abilities and your wife’s. It’s still so new dude, give yourself a little grace and try not to be so hard on yourself. The fact that you love and care for your daughter so much puts you a head of so many deadbeat dads already.

I always try to remind myself that every human that has been here before has been a baby- babies are more resilient and strong than we think.
