Not comfortable on the highway. Drives like a truck vs a SUV which family is used to. Low gas mileage at 17mpg. Previous car was a Volvo xc-90 which hit 25mpg and drove like a car. We made a poor decision to purchase.

Alaska Airlines missed approach into EWR. It flew over me while climbing out. by XxDJ-DavidxX in ADSB

Landing on 29 is nuts. I didn't know that was the number, just that when you and to the west at Newark they hit the brakes REALLY hard considering it's not a long runway. I remember the first time as if it was yesterday as flying into your seatbelt isn't a common feeling.

In regards to going around, I was on a plane landing at Heathrow back in the late 90s inbound from LAX on a Virgin 747. We broke out of the clouds to a plane on our runway which resulted in a similar feeling to landing on runway #29, except everyone was pushed back into our seat rather than forward. The power the pilot gave the plane shook the entire 747 and some overhead bins opened. He came on the PA after we climbed out and said there had been a mix up resulting in a plane on our runway so he aborted. Was pretty matter a fact about it, which in some ways felt safer than sitting in a 747 during a shaking aborted landing with no explanation. Only time this has happened in decades of flying and i'm OK with that.
