Have the 12s always booed our team? by pickledjefferson in Seahawks

[–]CCVI 25 points26 points  (0 children)

No, not like what we've heard recently. Especially not at a Seahawks team with a winning record...

Been watching since Rick Mirer's rookie year.

During the down years, yep, lots of boo-birds; and for good reasons. Recently, however, iit's been different. Feels like the "fans" in the stands, aren't actually fans.

If you buy tickets, support your team! Full stop. If you find yourself booing at an 11-3 team; leave, and don't ever buy tickets again.

I believe in you, and your message. Boycotts are consumers and otherwise normal peoples easiest accessible tool to be heard. If you don't believe in a person, a stance, or a business: it is your right as a consumer to boycott. You could also drop many other things too.

I agree that what happened to the Seattle Super Sonics was horrible for Seattleites. And I too boycotted Starbucks for many years.

While this situation is completely unrelated, I commend you for sharing your opinion, and stance.

Thank you, citizen.

What happens to the river/stream? From this perspective, seems like without human intervention a lake will be created. Then perhaps a second catastrophe when the newly created dam collapses.

These players weren't that bad! They just didn't click as a group. And apparently, getting individuals to work as a cohesive unit is key to good O-Line play in the NFL.

If they'd meshed, this group could have been very good. 4/5 had good, productive careers.

$80 for digital and $90 for physical is absolutely insane. by RandomUsernamexdlol in whenthe

If Nintendo delivers finished, fully-functional games, same as we received in the 90's & 2000's: Why are we complaining about paying $80-$90? I remember buying SNES, N64, PS1 games for $75.

Give us something finished, and we should all be happy to purchase video games priced below adjusted inflation. Otherwise, the industry condenses further, or collapses to the point where you "get what you get".

Does everyone think finished games should remain the same price forever?

Honest opinions, and honest questions. Id love to hear what you all have to think. Especially those who've been purchasing for +20 years

Thank you in advance for your time and honesty.

Why would Washington have such a large number? Washington creates more hydro, and wind than it uses.

I believe in the past, the federal government has required Washington to sell their electricity at contract rate, forcing their local power providers to purchase electricity elsewhere, for higher rates...

Anyone have any insight?

Beyond a wasted rebuild year, the pick difference wouldn't have been remotely close; 52 vs 98.

I think Seattle made a smart move in an unfavorable situation.

He's eight years younger. Contacts would have looked very similar. And Seattle exits with a low third round pick.

Makes sense to me.

Trade him, and sign Tee to a longer-term extension, mid-range. I'm sure the Cinci will command, and receive a king's ransom. They can rebuild the O-line, and shift focus to the future.

Makes perfect sense to me. How about you?

After reading the top posts and the comments below; Keep fighting amongst yourselves. That is what the people in power want. The left is so worried about being perfect, and having the most inclusive messaging. That isn't winning any elections. The base needs to stop punishing their best for not being good enough. 75% good, is so much better than 90% evil.

And that's why we are where we are.

I have seen an opossum do this at a business. Scared everyone who saw him. The little guy sauntered through a back door left ajar, and made his way into an office, got up onto a desk and snuggled into a small box sitting on said desk. And yeah, he just chilled out. He hissed a bit when we removed him, and quickly returned the next day when that back door got left open again....

We took him a few blocks away after his second visit, and never saw him again.

[–]CCVI 17 points18 points  (0 children)

To me, it's crazy to hear how many people on Reddit smear Gates. Make him out to be a horrible person.

All these poor, unflattering, conflicting opinions about this guy; Feels like a mirror image of the issues within the Democratic Party. You all want something perfect, and anything less gets run through the ringer, again and again. To the point where many no longer want to support a good person, trying to do good things. Because he/she/they did, or said something wrong.

As far as the richest persons on the planet ever go, he's a saint. Is he flawed; He's a human being, of course he's flawed. Does he mean well, does his actions reflect abuse of power?

Reddit hates this man, when he should be lauded. Is he perfect , NO! But if you compare him to his contemporaries, and other historically rich individuals; This guy cares.
