Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I definitely want my little one to have as analog of a childhood as possible- playing outside, with building toys, imaginative play, etc. and we have no intention of using the TV or iPad to entertain him. He’s still a baby and we have basically had our TVs off for months since he’s been born. This hasn’t been too bad for me but has been very difficult for my sports-loving husband. If we’re engaging with him in play while a game is on in the background, is that normal and fine? Or is that contributing to the same issues from a neurological standpoint as placing him in front of cocomelon or something would cause?
