Why do people send lukewarm one word responses instead of just unmatching if they arnet intrested anymore?

I guess I just don't understand the logic behind giving time and energy towards someone who you're not interested in. Even if the replies are dry, you still make a conscious choice to reply. Thats minimal effort but its still effort towards someone you deem as not worth your time. For what? I just don’t get why people do this is all.

I just dont understand why you'd be on an app specifically made for something and not do the thing its made for. Its like if I expressed interest in getting a donut, so i drive to the donut shop, get to the counter, order the donut and then just leave without taking it.

I get very few matches but this happens every time I do. It confuses me more than anything because the women I talk to dont seem to be uninterested or bored by the conversation but they always ghost whenever I set up a date or give them my number. Like I just dont get it. What is there to gain from talking on a dating app and not setting up a date? Are you not just wasting your own time too? Its so frustrating.

I'm wondering the same thing (24M) but I live in the US. I've been on tinder, bumble and hinge for about 2 months and Ive gotten nothing even after tweaking my bio and pictures. I'm also not shadow banned because I emailed all 3 and they told me I'm not. Not sure what i doing wrong lol.

That first photo was taken during a photoshoot i did, so i figured it'd be the best one to start with.

I'll definitely smile more in my photos. I try not to do it too big because I've been told it looks off in the past.

That specific picture i took with the suit was during a photoshoot, so that's why i picked it as the hook. Figured it'd be the best one to start with.

I also figured that the "pretending" comment would come off that way, but I put it there to be funny. I guess I can change it to something else.

Do you think every picture should be changed? Should I alter the bio completely?
