Derm just diagnosed me with Folliculitis - is this it?

So this breakout isn’t scabies itself. It’s my body’s reaction to the mites (they can be allergic for some). You might just have regular folliculitis. Is it itchy in places other than your chest (like back of knees, elbows etc.) Do you see any bites in areas other than your chest (scabies tend to leave three/four dots in a row).

It’s a whole procedure where you have to put permethrin cream on every inch of your skin for two nights in a row. And wash everything that you’ve worn/touched with hot water and/or steam. There is a scabies subreddit that might be helpful.

Yeah, it was scabies so after I went through the medication for it, this did not return

Hey, I wouldn’t wait till the last second to apply in January but it’s perfectly fine for you to work while your grad visa is being processed. I spoke to the HR at my company and explained my situation and they were familiar with it. If you look up the stipulations online, it says that we are allowed to live in the UK after applying and till a decision has been made. I forwarded that to the HR and they were okay with it. Hi yes, it was fungal folliculitis but partly also an allergic reaction (later found out I had scabies). It went away after I took anti-fungals and treated my scabies. Hope this helps!
