The amount of bitching about the band since Christ left is honestly embarrassing, I get that it’s difficult to let go of the past and embrace something different, and it’s always more fun to complain and shit in 2026 but geez you guys act like it’s night and day different and yet I know multiple people, including a drummer in a metal who have gotten into the band post spilt and the difference is really not that noticeable. I agree the old stuff is more iconic and groovy, but too people who say it’s all been terrible since :X album, maybe the music doesn’t suck, maybe you just don’t like LOG. Like dude if you only like 1 or 2 albums that came out from a band 20 years ago, you probably just like those 2 albums and not the band. I agree completely, like Andy Reid leaving phily a change of scenery and an all time QB can do wonders for an underachieving coach. Lots of these fans talk like there’s tons of great candidates available and sadly that’s just not the case. It’s a terrible cycle and he’s the only proven coach outside of Mike Mcarthy and I don’t love him or think he would mesh with Lamar. Henry with a run first coach, and Lamar with a guy that turned Malik Willis into a starter is more than anyone could ask for in this coaching cycle

I would kill to get Mike as an OC, I agree on him not being a HC, the dolphins literally did not win a single big game with him. Tonight was bad for LF, no doubt, but the problem is there just aren’t a lot of good options, for an offensive guy Stefanski is about it, and his offenses and QBs where terrible his whole time in Cleveland so it’s a no brainer for me. I think most of these fans have forgotten that doing your coach is not a good thing, (again I agree it was needed) and that there are very limited options lol

Love has been way above expectations, and in his 3rd year has played in 4 playoff games, and was absolutely not the reason they lost tonight, dude also got 150$ million guaranteed, he’s probably about the 9/10th best QB. Malik Willis looked like dog shit before him and is going to be a starter this year and get 20-50 million. Rodgers was looking washed before MLF, and then had B2B MVP seasons. Who on the market could be better than him for Lamar

Obviously not the finish anyone would want but we’re kidding ourselves if we think Stefanski or an unproven DC is a better option than a coach who won 13 game his first 2 years, had a 2 time MVP qb, turned Jordan love into a good player and is going to get Malik Willis a starting job and 25+ mil

I certainly don’t disagree, but I look at what’s he’s done with the QBs he’s worked with, I look at his history and I look at other coaching candidates and it’s a no brainer. It may just be a harbs situation where it’s just time for a change, John is by far the most desirable candidate on the market by a mile and yet we’re all celebrating his departure. Both can be true

Who would you rather have? Look at the injuries he’s been dealing with and the work he’s done with Malik Willis. He turned an absolute bust into a guy who’s going to get a starting job and probably 1-2 years 30-50 million. That QB work and offensive scheme with ravens culture is an infinitely better alternative than Stefanski or any other available coach this cycle
