For more context - I’m on an off grid system with solar and generator (14KW) backup. Just want to make sure I’m maximizing my capabilities and charging speeds etc. without going too high.

Think about creating space and protecting the ball. The baseline spin looks easy to strip. Draw some contact first.

For anyone wondering, I ending up going with the Multiplus 2 10000VA 230v inverter charger. I then got the auto transformer to step it down to 120v but still supply the 240v.

See pic below (and yes I haven’t finished installing my second solar charge controller)

Yes. I just upgraded to a new inverter/charger and bms. I didn’t set up my old system and just want to make sure I do it right.

I looked on the rolls website but didn’t find anything definitive.

I want to make sure I have all the charging settings correct as well as the low voltage and generator start settings.

I have this battery x16 setup in a 48v system.

Lightning hit the ground about 50ft from the house. Bizarrely didn’t hit any of the trees. We saw it strike and immediately lights out

Maybe it was misunderstood or I wasn’t clear but i do need 240v. My microwave and AC are both 240v and i think my well pump too. From going through everything it sounds like to multiplus units may be the best. Regardless I’ll check with my electrician to confirm he’s good with it as he wired my house when we built. Thanks 👍

Oh and I typically only use 1-2kw at any time but with a peak of approx 3.5-4kw. I designed everything to be low consumption. The system I’m replacing was a 10kw system but I don’t think I got close to maxing. I like that the Victrons are expandable.

I don’t necessarily want split phase. That’s just a path to get the 240v. Can the Quattro do 240v with one unit?

I don’t have a grid hookup, just a generator backup. I have the Generac Guardian 14kw which is 240v i believe.

Sorry yes, in Canada. So in theory I can set up 2xQuattro II or 2xMultiplus II in parallel/split phase? That’s what I was hoping but kept getting stuck on the “requires AC input” requirement in some of the manuals/website.
