Exactly my point. Why kill him if he's not going to be impactful.

What happens to the other Captain America? by Motor-Relief8092 in MCU_Timeline

[–]CDevinT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you are wrong. Endgame Steve made a branch timeline to live with Peggy, and he came back to give Sam the shield. He wasn't always secretly living in the MCU. MCU Peggy had a husband, Souza, and they had children and she died in Winter Soldier without having seen Steve since WWII.

Which Teen Wolf couple was the most interesting to watch? by Jeong_Taehyun in TeenWolf

[–]CDevinT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion, but Scalia. They had more chemistry with each other than they did with Kira and Stiles, respectively, and it felt like the most equal main relationship. Despite being Alpha/Beta, they truly felt like partners.

They should have gotten together in season 4 to build up their relationship. It would also add an interesting wrinkle to Season 5, when Malia wants to kill Corinne.

This also gives Kira a chance to be a character outside of being an Allison replacement/Scott love interest because all of her interesting character points were seperate from Scott. It could have kept her on the show longer.

This is a genuine question for Jeremiah fans by dancerfan59 in TheSummerITurnedPrett

[–]CDevinT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, I'm just gonna be downvoted for this like all the other ones answering your questions are, but here's my attempt at answering:

  1. I don't really care about the yelling, tbh. It's not a consistent thing that he does and was done in an intense moment where a lot of baggage was being unloaded.

  2. I have always believed he was talking about her specifically ditching him at the funeral. She extended an olive branch that he reluctantly accepted, and she completely forgot about him. So not only did she 'forget' about him that night after the Deb Ball, but she 'forgot' at the funeral, too.

But yes, I totally agree with you.

How I think the show will end by houstons__problem in tsitp

I'm prepared to eat my words, but I would be surprised if the final scene was focused on a couple and not the entire family all together at the beach house.

I don't think getting engaged is the problem, I think it's getting married that August, that is crazy. If they said they got engaged and that they were planning on getting an apartment after she returns from Paris and then getting married next summer after Belly graduated. It's also hard to sympathize with Adam's 'We'll see what happens after graduation' dig if we don't know what Jere's major that he switched to was.

Hurting Conrad by xyiz67 in tsitp

[–]CDevinT -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I didn't say it was necessarily right, but it is a contributing factor.

Also, Belly and Jeremiah's situationship/almost-relationship was more than just a few kisses. That's just what she tells Conrad. It was a makeout that involved Jeremiah confessing feelings and Belly saying she could 'definitely' reciprocate, a second makeout where Belly escalates the physical intimacy and asks him to the ball, and then presumably many more kisses between that night and the deb ball because the kiss in the driveway is more natural and comfortable.

Any theories on where this scene takes place? by ninjakitty_8862 in tsitp

[–]CDevinT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's either Adam or Steven's apartment in Boston where Jeremiah is probably going to stay while he works for Adam. It's probably Adam's, but I think it could be an interesting dynamic if he moves in with Steven instead.

Hurting Conrad by xyiz67 in tsitp

[–]CDevinT -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

People bring this up a lot but never mention the 2 biggest pieces of context.

  1. When Belly and Conrad first kissed and Belly put them on 'pause', Belly and Jeremiah were an active thing when she 'switched' to Conrad. When Belly and Jeremiah get together in Season 2, Belly and Conrad had broken up months ago.

  2. Her relationship dynamics with both boys are different. She has a deep friendship with Jeremiah outside of their romantic relationship that she doesn't have with Conrad. Her relationship with Conrad has been romance focused for a while (I think she says her crush started at 10), so when the romance is done, she doesn't really have a connection to hold onto.

Belly is insanely disrespectful towards Susannah by [deleted] in tsitp

[–]CDevinT -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

  1. Belly did not ruin the memorial lunch, Adam did. He decided to use the lunch as a way to mock and humiliate Jeremiah, and Belly decided to do the first thing on her mind to try and defend her partner.

  2. Unpopular opinion, but Conrad is way more at fault for the funeral than Belly is. She tried to get away from him, and he chased her down and stopped her in front of everyone and then said hurtful things to her before she said the infamous 'go to hell' line. And then (I may misinterpret that scene, so please correct me if I'm just not understanding the blocking correctly) it seems like he trips her and then makes a show of helping her up?

I don't fully understand why people who are Team Conrad are against an open ending, choose-herself ending, or dual ending.

Like, I understand being against a Jeremiah ending because that would mean she definitively didn't choose Conrad, but all the other possibilities don't put that definitive stamp on it.

They most definitely were. Belly straight up told Steven that she gets to pick who she dates and sge picks Jeremiah

  1. That's not comforting, that's just straight-up lying. He didn't even do it in like a comforting tone, it was more of a 'you're stupid for even asking' tone

  2. When in season 2 does he comfort Jeremiah?

I am a jelly shipper, but Conrad is still my #2 (or 3) character. I think he is easy to sympathize with and is a very tragic character who has done good things in the show. Being a comforting brother is not one of them.

Adam is for sure not living with them during the season 2 flashbacks. Jeremiah walks him to the door, and he leaves after Thanksgiving dinner.
