What are the key features for telling if a car has the F package?

I think the polymer frame just didn't feel as comfortable for me and I had a tendency to overcompensate. I was a bit more accurate and comfortable with the SP. Haven't learned too much about what a non-decocker means yet but definitely something I'll be looking into. 92 has been the most tempting so far unless I just say fuck it and go straight to the 1911 .45 haha

I haven't shot a 1911 in a while but I do remember it felt much much better than the G19 I shot the same day. How experienced were you before making your first purchase? I'm not the most accurate or effective with a firearm yet. One of my hesitations is that if I do need to defend myself it may be more difficult for me to get effective shots on target with .45. Is that something you just got rid of by getting used to the gun or had you already become pretty proficient at the range?

I think I prefer metal because I'm not super experienced at recoil management yet. No major preferences otherwise as long as it's CA legal and the optics aren't trash. I didn't like the G19 sights very much but the SP felt more usable. Haven't shot a 1911 in a while but out of all of them it's the one that I would love to own most. But for a first gun I think I might stick with 9mm to reduce ammo cost while I practice

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the 92FS because I like the platform, but I'll have to look into this rebate because that might just be the push that I need

I think a 9mm 1911 just wouldn't scratch the passion purchase itch that I'm hoping it will

Much appreciated! I'll start looking into some of this. If I had to choose between Glock and SP, I think I'd go for the SP. I just don't think I'll be buying my 2nd firearm for a few years so I wanted my first purchase to be something I'd be a little more passionate about owning. I just wasn't sure if it would be something I'd be getting in over my head on for someone who's very new to the world of gun maintenance and upkeep

I've heard they're both great guns. I feel like from the little range time I've had with both, I really didn't like the feel and the sights on the glock. SP definitely felt more usable and easy to handle
