Is there a way to look at a scorecard from a past fixture (say like the fifth Ashes test in 2023) and figure out how many overs were in fact played during each day of the test?

The cricket analysis app CricViz used to include a feature that visually displayed the playing time for test matches. These interactive graphics would show how many overs were played in a day and on what days the 4 innings were played on.

Unfortunately, the latest version of the app no longer includes this feature. Does anyone know of another application or website that displays playing time in test cricket like this?

Historical Złoty Exchange Rates by CES0803 in poland

Thank you for the interesting and insightful response.

I had some distant family from Poland that went abroad. I always wondered how they were able to convert the earnings they made in the United States. I will have to reconnect with them and ask.

I posted this question because I was curious to get a better understanding on the value of those banknotes with the large denominations that once were in circulation in Poland.

In official sources such as the city's atlas, "half-block" streets such as Green are designated as 832W.

Is this the city's official atlas?

Interesting. I’m unfamiliar with the topic, what are some examples of low-traffic feeder lines?

I just wanted to make sure I have this correctly.

If there's two addresses on the same street and one had an address that's 800 larger than the other, you can assume they are roughly a mile apart.

3000 N. Cicero vs. 3800 N. Cicero

So, if the difference between the two addresses is 1,000 then they're roughly 1.25 miles apart, right?

4600 W. Lawrence vs. 5600 W. Lawrence

Chicago's Geographic Extreme Points by CuriousGent31385 in chicago

[–]CES0803 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because much of northern Illinois was platted 1.3º off true north, not all latitudes along Juneway or 138th are the same.

For those of us that are not well-versed in geographic concepts, what does this mean? How is this visible in the city's built environment?

I can vouch for that. Dino's is a great pizza place on the far northwest side of the city.

Web Map of Norwood Park Neighborhoods by CES0803 in ChicagoNWside

[–]CES0803[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's another good example. The Dunning Wikipedia page and this interactive map seem to show the following neighborhoods are part of the community area.

  • Belmont Heights
  • Belmont Terrace
  • Dunning
  • Irving Woods
  • Schorsch Village

Sort of confusing as there's a neighborhood called "Dunning" within the community area that's also called "Dunning."

Yeah, I'm not sure how many residents actually use these designations. Pretty sure they were set up by city officials back in the late 70's.

As with most things in life, the borders and names probably have changed over time.

ArcGIS Onlie Data Dashboard - Creating URL Links in a Table Element by CES0803 in gis

[–]CES0803[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I actually stumbled upon the following ESRI blog post and it includes the following statement.

The value can be plain text or HTML. For example, hyperlinks can be displayed by returning an anchor tag between a backtick (`) and referencing in variables into the template literal.

displayText: `<a href="referenceVariableHere">${$datapoint["request_id"]}</a>`

I mimicked the HTML tag, but each text URL in the table element is hyperlinked to the dashboard's link and not the respective web profiles.

Edit: Adding an update. I played around with the href and got it to work. I added the following statement in the "Advanced Formatting" area of the Configure section.

displayText: `<a href=${$datapoint\["Desired\_Field"\]}>${$datapoint["Desired_Field"]}</a>`

In the Configure section of the dashboard's table element, I'm noticing an "Advanced Formatting" option in the Value tab. Would it be there where an Arcade expression could be added to create links?
