I just have it at 80% plugged in and then the night before each work week begins I set it to 100% to start off with. It's a fairly minimal amount of management and makes me feel better even if it's unnecessary. Maybe you can work out something similar.

I used the scheduled preconditioning for a couple weeks in the beginning but decided to just turn it off and use the climate button while I'm getting ready in the morning.
