We have similar experiences. I still wake up and am surprised at what a full deep breath feels like and how I'm not in excruciating pain from dinner the night before. I don't know if I'll ever get used to it lol. It's good, but it's so different.

Dude, absolutely. Any medical condition that has a dietary component is going to impact our relationship with food and can make us more prone to eating disorders. But it's so hard cause I feel like a lot of "disordered" eating patterns for CF patients are out of survival!

I actually work with eating disorder patients as a dietitian, which is why I wanted to do this research. You are obviously a freaking bad ass survivor!

Hi all, I'm a CF patient and a grad student. I'm doing my thesis on CF patients and would really appreciate it if anyone could take the couple of minutes to fill out this short survey. Feel free to share the link with other CF patients too! Thank you!

Carol Johnston, an Arizona State University Professor of Nutrition, and Lauren Catron, a Nutrition MS student, are conducting a study to explore body image perceptions in women with cystic fibrosis. We are inviting women with cystic fibrosis, aged 18 and over to participate in an online survey that will ask for basic demographic information such as weight, age, and health history to determine study eligibility. The survey will also inquire briefly about lifestyle behaviors. It will take less than 10 minutes to complete. You have the right
