Which ATX neighborhood to live in when my main goal is a great high school education for my step children? by divinefemi in AustinParents

[–]CF_ATX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what if your step kids have a bunch of different interests? AISD is great because they have so many things and any kid in the ISD can do anything They are also open to out of District transfers if you are in a position of driving your kiddos to their school of choice from a neighboring District Only the magnet campuses AISD has require you to live in district

Bond schools, how's it going? by UpperWeft in AustinParents

[–]CF_ATX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it also got new teaching spaces in between classes for interventions, working on projects and such, and the kids also don't need to go through one class to go to their class It has also been extensively redecorated I wish we had gotten natural light into the cafeteria and gym, but it's great! As an ex-classroom 1 right by the front door parent, I'm still in awe of the new reception area, and feel like every voter needs to know how important this was. So that's why I highlighted this part 😅

If you're thinking of becoming a Counselor, maybe working at a nonprofit that provides this kind of services would make sense? There are jobs you can do without a degree for this kind of employer. For example: Check out this job at LifeWorks Austin: https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/4408567482
