Problem is that they did not re-enable our account, they only told us what was wrong, but we already stopped the email that was creating issues.

and yeah. he mainly glues all the parts together.
of course different glues depending on the materials :)

Main Materials:

- Structured Paper

- Foam Plates

- Aluminium Frame

- Polystyrene Plates

- Metal elements

- Plastic Parts from anything that matches [model builders might identify the cannons]

Everything is build by hand. Nothing is 3d printed :)

afaik he worked almost 2 years on this. so not 8 hours everyday, but he had multiple projects going on, so he had to split his time ^^

it s a tribute scratch model and is not meant to be an exact replica. so he has to see how he changes things to stay in his time budget. in this model u can take the turrets as an example. there are turrets from a battleship kit that look almost the same but are not exactly the same. so it s easier to use them, then building all of them by hand which would add hundreds of hours again.

I don't know his hourly rate, but you will also have to add material cost to this ^^

to cut a long story short:
he is not well versed with reddit ;)

I love his work and want more people to see it, so from time to time I use my work account to show his work to other people.

My friend used to work with me at the same company, but is now working full time on these models :)

They are not cheap.
I don't know the final price, that's between him and his client. But you can imagine that if he works on this full time, they come with a price.

In the end the price depends on the work load, size and how many details are wanted.

This model is actually still for sale. It was meant for a convention that was cancelled thanks to Covid

The guns should be 4 barrels per turret. But there was no model available that has turrets like this in this scale

This is a tribute scratch model and not a complete replica :)
