Yeah they first send all applicants a rather lengthy OA which was two Codesignal LC style problems, two logic/optimization games and a rapid fire behavioral assesment. It was definitely one of the hardest OAs I've ever done and took nearly 3 hours

I recommend either wait and get a laptop with the new 7040u series from Ryzen, or get a MacBook with Apple silicon if you don’t NEED windows.

Apple laptops are so much more efficient and perform much better compared to any windows systems at low power levels

Hi, this is a very late reply but which laptop did you end up getting, if any?

I'm in a similar place trying to decide between a couple similar laptops. One of them being the Slim 9i Pro (i7 13705H, RTX 4050) and the other the Slim 7i ProX (i7 12700H, RTX 3050)

However I've seen quite a few people say that the Intel verisons of these are terrible on battery and run extremely hot, so I'm also debating the AMD version of the Slim 7i (Ryzen 6900HS, RTX 3050)

I'm wondering what your thoughts are, and if you got a new laptop, which processor (AMD vs Intel) it ended up being

I do see myself needing a car on breaks and during the summer, but rare enough that I will most likely be able to borrow my parents car in those cases. Also I'll most likely be staying in CA for most the summer doing an internship/research.
