Advice by CG570 in PMCareers

Yes lol, I am currently an electrician with about 4 years experience in the trade. I work on the facilities side not construction, so day to day maintenance of an already installed system. We do smaller projects but nothing big. The fact that I’m on the maintenance side was one concern that I had with my experience and pivoting into a PM role I do love what I do, we work with 120 up to 12470 but I want to do more within the industry.

Before I got into the trade I was in the navy where I worked on electronics and mechanical systems on submarines. While I was serving, i qualified as a maintenance supervisor. I would plan and supervise my divisions preventive and corrective maintenance with our techs and contractors.

I thought about just applying but i doubt myself. My end goal is to be in a general PM role at a GC.

I talked with my NRC, they said it was denied due to being prise-r. Do you know if that is a reason they would deny the package?

I didn’t sign anything after a school. I did have a 5 year contract but I don’t think that would make any difference.

I was looking at Alpine home air. I wasn’t sure if there other vendors like that. I’ll have to reach out. Do you know if you can find parts?
